Our Favorite!

When I purchased our first bottle of peppermint castile soap it did not even cross my mind that I'd be here writing about it or that both my husband and I would love using it in the shower and throughout our house!
Our list of bests:
♥ A little goes a long way; this actually goes for all the liquid soaps.
♥ TMI...it leaves a tingly sensation on your sensitive areas when using it in the shower ;)
♥ 1/2 to 1 capful mixed with water in a 32 oz. sprayer is an excellent kitchen and bathroom counter top cleaner with aromatherapy properties.
♥ 1-2 oz. mixed in a 5 gallon bucket is an excellent pet kennel cleaner...our dogs love it!
♥ Let us know your uses in the guest book.

E. H. Bronner
A Wikipedia article

He started his business making products by hand in his home. The product labels are crowded with statements of Bronner's philosophy, which he called "All-One-God-Faith" and the "Moral ABCs". Many of Bronner's references came from Jewish and Christian sources, such as the Shema and the Beatitudes; others from poets such as Rudyard Kipling. They became famous for their idiosyncratic style, including hyphens to join long strings of words and the liberal use of exclamation marks. In 1947, while promoting his "Moral ABCs" at the University of Chicago, Bronner was arrested and committed to a mental hospital in Elgin, Illinois from which he escaped after shock treatments.

After Bronner's death, his family continued the business. They have said the labels he wrote will not change except when required by government regulations. As of 2007 the Bronner company still lists hemp oil in addition to jojoba oil in the ingredients. The pH of their liquid castile soaps is about 9 to 10. The labels are now printed with hemp seed ink.

Soap, Drugs, & Rock and Roll
You got to watch it to believe it.

Binding the Ties

The Bronner soap bottles are known for weird writing, some even described as rants. This is one I found, after finding my hubbies reading glasses and turning the bottle from side to side and upside down... #95: I've never stooped so low as to hate any man! For I've learned that in the long run, all mankind needs-wants-loves whatever good work you've done! Regardless of your race, color, nationality, or religion! - Booker T. Washington, born a slave.

I enjoyed your lens the first time I bought Dr. Bronners was for my cars top. Dr Bronners cleans it beautifully. My miata's top will last many more years and the leather interior has benefited as well. I get 38 miles to the gallon and prefer its sporty look.

I like the liquid peppermint best!
I mostly use it in the shower, and keep a bottle at the kitchen sink.
I can't use most of the commercial soaps on the market because I have bad reactions to them, but Dr. Bronner's works get for me!
Thanks for getting the word out! :)

Great lens ***** I believe in being gentle with the environment. I purchase plain castile soap and add my own favorite Young Living essential oil, much cheaper than using store bought detergent products and cleans very well too. I can change the fragrance anytime I want, but the citrus oils are the best for cleaning.
