Cofounders Nitsa Nakos, Priska King and Bob Biss confirmed rumours that The Coastal Synergy Group (CSG) is now operating as Synergy Marketing Group (SMG) and has officially partnered with Platinum One Destinations as their exclusive sales and marketing division. As of January 2008 SMG will no longer be marketing the Coastal Vacations Packages.

"We are grateful for the past 5 years, however our team's size and needs have outgrown Coastal Vacations," said Nakos in a statement. "We have found a permanent home with Platinum One Destinations; one where our members enjoy a safe harbor for their businesses"

Priska King said, "With P1D we have a corporate and legal structure in place to protect our members businesses; something that has been lacking in Coastal Vacations. At the beginning of 2007, The CSG Cofounders began a year long journey. "We have dedicated hundreds of hours and countless thousands of dollars developing a long-term vision and plan for the Synergy Team," said King.
