The Sandman is the groundbreaking series by Neil Gaiman. It tells the story of Morpheus, the dream king and his domain, the Dreaming. Like everyone else, he's got a dysfunctional family comprised of the Endless -- they are not gods but rather... well, it's hard to explain. They are the anthropomorphic personifications of destiny, death, dream, despair, desire, destruction and delirium. You know what I mean? And like your family and mine, they don't always get along.
The original 75 issues and special are collected into ten graphic novels.
