- hey man, yeah, dreamhost was alright for a while, but i think they started growing and overselling their servers. i went with site5 instead, but i've heard from other people i know that dreamhost is getting back the way the used to be, which was real good... thanks for the kickass lens man, kepe up the good work!

However, if one is stupid greedy with one's use of cron, they will kill your processes, so watch your CPU usage and keep it under the radar, as it were, and they're fine with it.

I find it humorous, albeit unfortunate and misguided, that many users of Shared Web Site Hosting services expect it to act like a Virtual Dedicated Server or Dedicated server, as you can see in some of the posts.
