In this tutorial we will use Creative FlashFX, the Flash components pack that incorporates Creative MovieFX and Creative TextFX. Not only that the products have similarities regarding their interfaces and the workflow while using them, but they are fully compatible with each other.

Creative MovieFX v2 is a Flash effects component that offers the ability to apply effects on any movie clips. From the user friendly interface it's very easy to browse the over 280 predefined effects gallery and apply them on the three transition types available (In effects, Out effects, and Wait effects) without writing a line of code.

With Creative TextFX v2 you can create stunning text effects in FLASH. This Flash component gives you access to more than 300 predefined text effects that are customizable from the user interface or directly with ActionScript elements - properties, methods, constructor parameters and events - thoroughly documented in the complete product manual or in the Contextual Help.

For years we were all used to table designs and simple html pages. Most screen resolutions were around 800x600 or 1024x768 so web designers did well enough with the so called 760px or 960px fixed layout. With the new monitors came bigger resolutions reaching 1920x1080px. The old 800x600 and 1024x768 were 4:3 screen size, while the new 1440x900 and 1920x1080 are 16:9 screen type. Meaning you can have wider layouts. To add some more issues, layouts should be readable by Smartphones, so it's a jungle out there when it comes to creating a layout with a consistent user experience regardless of the device used for browsing.

In this tutorial I will show you how you can align an image and text using CSS.

There are 2 ways of doing this:

* create 2 DIV (one for the image one for the text) and align them
* style the regular img tag to align it next to a text DIV

Create panoramic image slideshow with Dreamweaver Extensions

Creative DW Image Show PRO is a Dreamweaver slideshow extension that enables you to create remarkable eye-catching Flash banners with Image and text effects, Flash slideshows and any other multimedia presentations in Dreamweaver without the need for Flash.

Using the rich GUI you can configure every aspect of the motion effect: speed, motion direction, number of pieces, rotation, alpha and add some finishing touches like a soundtrack or background enhancements like a glass effect, borders, etc.

In this tutorial we will make a moving panorama slideshow using Creative DW ImageshowPro and Dreamweaver. We will create movement from static pictures, and adding effects between the pictures. Most tourism or presentation sites could use a slideshow to showcase pictures and that's so easy to create!
