For all dressage fans

I love dressage. It's so much more than just riding a horse around in circles... but sometimes it's hard to convince people of that!

I've created this little haven away from the unbelievers, for myself and fellow dressage fans to indulge in! If you love dressage too, then check out the links below for some of my favourite dressage related shenanigans on the internet.

I'll no doubt be updating this lens regularly as I find cool stuff on my e-wanderings, so be sure to come back later to check for new additions!

Awesome video of a horse exhibiting dressage movements when running free

The horse in it's natural movements: Please do compare the body language of this horse to the body language and movements of the horses shown on the video clips on hyperflexion. The aim of dressage and dressage training is to develop the natural gaits and movements of the horse. Please also realise that posture and movement in the horse are closely connected to it's state of mind, it's emotions and its'well being.

It's easy to get hooked Mike! I'm not exactly a diva anyway, maybe I'll change the wording :-P

Thanks for dropping by everyone! I love receiving your comments and feedback :-)

Be careful with the "Diva" there! Not all lovers of Dressage are women! I have been riding dressage (not full time and with intermittant years off) for 23 years. Original took dressage lesson to improve my seat for jumping--but got hooked!

Thanks for adding me to the Longhopes group! I've added the badge, and featured your Longhopes lens and group on here, so hopefully more people will see them and make lenses for Longhopes :-)

Wow, this is really comprehensive. There aren't a whole lot of dressage riders where I am, it's mostly Western, but dressage is just so much fun to watch! Thank You for donating to Longhopes Donkey Shelter!!! You're a hero, the donkeys appreciate the carrots. Bless You.
