Dried Squid and Dried Octopus

Dried Seafoods are what might have driven people out of our Chinese shop.
But I have grown up with them,
and, although we did not use them everyday,
they certainly could make memorable dishes.
With the baby squid, you can wash and soak them, and they go particularly well stir fried with Broccoli.
The larger dried squid can even go on a Barbecue.

Vote without punishment and with a real choice!

If only all voting was like this.

This may be too random for some.

I am very sensitive to criticism so go ahead.

I would censor you if I could.

Well this could be anarchic.
People just don't like anything to do with China.
I think They eat this stuff in Japan too.
Oh anyone can get to enjoy.

I have fished for squid on the Southern California pier in Oceanside. Cleaning and cooking them can really be a challenge but I have done it. I do love to eat it however but don't think I will try to clean one ever again lol. Popping out the eyes was not so appetizing 0.o Nice lens

Hey! I LIKE Squid! They are tasty! I've had them dried (like in your lens), fried (called "calimari" on the West Coast of the U.S.), and stewed (called "pusit" in the Philippines). I also like Squid sushi! I've liked, favorited, thumbs-upped, and lensrolled your lens to my lens on Squid. Congrats on a good job!

Squidoo and dried squid, now there is a culinary delight. I have had squid (Calamari in the states) in many fashions, some very chewy, all most interesting, some delicious. I have yet to sling some on my own BBQ, I'll try it.

Thanks for joining G Rated Lense Factory!

Ooh maybe a verbal fight here?

Keep it clean, and keep your mitts up.

Well people are usually too satisfied to be in a duel.

I love the simple line artwork.
You can see some of the dried squid strips through the see thru packet.

The artwork is quite jolly.

The picture is of some braised chilli squid.

The squid has been dried and stripped and is ready to be nibbled on.

Another closeup of some dried squid stripped and ready to be chewed on.

If you like this, your mouth could be watering even now.

Artwork is easy to do when it is of a subject you desire.

Yet more artwork closeups.

This packet contains a sweetened dried squid.

You can see the granules of sugar.Sweeeet.
