I love the soft feel of driftwood. I have used it to frame pictures and to hang mobiles but one of my favorite uses is as a material for children to explore at a sensory table. Many children don't get out into nature anymore and are fascinated with driftwood.

The structure that fascinates me the most here are the horses made from driftwood. It must take an amazing amount of time and vision to create such works of art.

Thank you so much for sharing.

I have in my possession a copy of La Dora Erdmann's "Driftwood Techniques and Projects" Book.
It is signed by La Dora and included in the book are articles on her, letters typed to and from her, a hand written letter to a fan from her, and her obituary.

Before I send it to auction, I thought I would give those in the Driftwood Art Community "first dibs" on it.

If you or anyone you know may be interested, please send me an email.

    Thank you,
