The fight against high gas prices has become a national battle cry. High gas prices are crippling our nations economy more than anything else. Make a list before you leave the house. Try to include everything you anticipate needing for at least one complete week in advance. Plan even further out if possible.

Another tip that is often overlooked is your car's condition! Maintaining your car's air filter and tire pressure will assure top performance and mileage. A dirty air filter can decrease mileage by 3 to 5%. Low air pressure in your tires could cost you as much as a 10% decrease in gas mileage.
