Driver Detective Review Intro

As most computer users know by now a brand new computer runs very quickly and smoothly but as time passes and the computer gets older that fast running computer becomes noticeably slower. There are a variety of reasons why this may happen including the system been simply having too many programs present in the memory at any one time.

Another reason may be because of spyware been present on your system. Spyware is everywhere these days and it can be installed on your system very stealthily and without your knowledge and once they have gained access to your system they can quickly affect system performance.

Having a corrupted or damaged registry is another big reason why your system may not be performing as well as it should. Over time the registry can become bloated by the information that is added to it. Any time you change your computer settings, add or remove a program or hardware peripheral from your system the registry is updated with new information but many times the old information isn't removed and over time the registry just gets too bloated.

Another factor could be outdated hardware drivers present on your system. Many times when a computer is released from the manufacturer the drivers that are used to run the hardware peripherals on the system aren't as efficient as they should be. Many times the manufacturers of the computer or hardware device will release new drivers that will make them run more efficiently but these updated drivers are usually only made available on the manufacturers websites and can be quite hard to find. Modern computers also comes with many hardware devices including hard driver, dvd drivers and tv tuners among other items. It can be quite tedious and frustrating to try and track down each of the new drivers that may be out these for the many hardware devices present on modern computer systems.

One solution to this problem is a program called Driver Detective by PC Drivers Headquarters, Inc. This software program has been around now for several years and has become quite popular. Driver Detective takes much of the frustration and time that can be consumed searching for new driver because they have collected together over 3 million drivers in the Driver Detective database from almost all the computer and computer peripheral manufacturers.
