Pass Plus - Get Insurance Discounts And Become A Safer Driver 

Details of Pass Plus driving courses offered by our driving school in the Slough, Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead, West Drayton, Chertsey and Egham areas;

Introduced in 1995, Pass Plus is a training scheme specifically aimed at new drivers.

Designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry, Pass Plus will build upon your existing skills and knowledge and teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, which will help you to become more confident on the roads. By gaining further driving experience in a variety of road conditions and situations, you can significantly improve your chances of avoiding involvement in a road accident and you may reduce your insurance premiums.

You will not have to take a test at the end of the course but you will be continually assessed. You must successfully complete all of the six individual modules in the course to an achieved or exceeded standard.

You can take take Pass Plus within one year of passing your practical driving test.

Motorway Driving Lessons 

Details of motorway driving lessons offered by our driving school in the Slough, Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead, West Drayton, Chertsey and Egham areas;

You are not allowed to drive on motorways before you pass your Practical Test, so motorway driving cannot be covered by your driving instructor while you are a learner driver.

Driving on a motorway is very different to driving on other types of road. Motorways have totally different signs and signals, and specific rules and regulations - plus traffic travels at much greater speeds than you will be accustomed to.

It makes sense to ensure that you are prepared for a very different form of driving by taking some motorway lessons after you pass your test.

Whether you have recently passed your driving test, have not driven for some time or are just plain nervous of motorways, taking one or more motorway lessons can be very beneficial.

There are numerous differences between motorways and other roads and you will gain knowledge and experience of the different rules, regulations and signage that applies.
