Where can you sell products? You can sell products anywhere and anyway that you choose. The two most common methods of selling are through an auction website, such as eBay or Amazon, and through your own e-commerce website. Many entrepreneurs choose to sell through both, thus increasing their sales while promoting their online business.

Auction websites make selling a cinch. Sellers can choose to sell through online auctions, through a storefront, or both. EBay and Amazon provide tools to make selling effortless.

Starting your own business is easy enough, but how can you make money when there are so many sellers online already?

Finding The Drop Shipping Website That Works For You

Reliable Wholesaler

Online retailers have many weapons at their disposal that can allow someone working as a one person company out of their living room to look like a 100 person organization. One of the greatest assets any online retailer could have is a reliable wholesaler, or multiple wholesalers if the retailer is smart, and that those wholesalers also offer drop shipping. Drop shipping is the act of the wholesaler shipping products ordered by your customers directly from the drop shipping sources  warehouse to the customer's doorstep. The preferred method of drop shipping is called blind drop shipping. Blind drop shipping is when the wholesaler puts your company name on all of the paperwork so that your customers believe that you have multiple warehouse locations and it gives your company the appearance of being larger than it really is.

Warehousing of Products

Shipping of Products

People sometimes hesitate to purchase products from one person operations working out of their homes so if you can give the impression that you are a larger organization than you really are then people are more apt to purchase from you. You can help yourself by finding out how many warehouse locations all of your wholesalers have and where those locations are. Then you can advertise your company as having multiple warehouses at locations all over the world. You would not be misleading your customers and your customers would come to look at your organization as one that they do not mind spending their money with.

There is a significant difference between wholesalers and retailers. Wholesalers focus on warehousing product and they invest a great deal of money into inventory tracking systems and all of the equipment necessary to move, package, and ship large quantities of product. Wholesalers do not sell to end customers. They leave that up to the retailers. Retailers are the front line of the retail sales business as retailers deal with the customers and are in the business of creating enough interest in their line of products that they can expand their business and stay profitable. Wholesalers cannot survive without retailers and retailers cannot survive without wholesalers. But it is important that as a retailer you find that wholesaler that is right for you and you can do that by checking out the various top dropshippers websites on the internet.

Dropship Website

Wholesale Pricing

Any reputable wholesaler has a website and you can tell a lot about a wholesaler based on how they structure and use their website. One of the first things you should notice about a wholesaler drop shipper's website is whether or not they allow easy access to their complete product catalog and pricing. Wholesalers are only supposed to deal with retailers so if you find it easy to access the wholesaler's pricing and complete product catalog then you may want to move on to a wholesaler that offers you and their other retailers a bit more protection and privacy from the general public.

Check out the drop shipper's terms and their customer service policy. This may not seem important when you are just starting out but you will need to deal with your wholesaler's customer service department before too long so make sure you check their policies and see if they are agreeable to you. Contact their customer service department either by phone or email and see what kind of responses you get. Was your question answered in a timely manner? Was your questioned answered completely? These are all very important things because when you have an angry customer with a defective product the last thing you need is to not have confidence in the customer service team at your wholesale drop shipper.
