Dropkick Murphys - Punk
Dropkick Murphys is a punk band that formed in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1996. Their unique name originated from a sign at a rehabilitation center. The Dropkick Murphys are notorious for their St. Patrick's Day concerts held on the weekend in Boston. They are called a Celtic punk band, which blends Celtic sound with punk music.
They were featured in the soundtrack for 'The Departed' movie starring Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, and a host of other outstanding actors.
