Derek Trucks (born June 8, 1979) is a Grammy Award-nominated American guitarist, songwriter, and record producer. He is a long-time member of the Allman Brothers Band and his own band, which he founded at age 15 and bears his name. The Wall Street Journal has described him as "the most awe-inspiring electric slide guitar player performing today".
