I would say that if your computer is less than 3-4 years old, you should be fine. - Next, if you're already a pro you may want something better, I do not consider myself a professional by any stretch, this is just a part-time hobby for me. If you are a professional, you probably want a program for something that has more capability and customization than DUBTurbo 2.0. Most of the people who are looking to create beats are not professionals yet. Dub Turbo 2.0 will help beginners and intermediates levels learn how to produce studio quality tracks.

 

And how about the GOOD things about Dub Turbo?

 

- It's a very easy to set-up and a very stress free experience. Dub Turbo really has a nice writing style and their experience with beat making really shows.

- The tutorial videos show you what to do; there are training videos that you can access right from the program. You can watch and replicate exactly what you see in the videos as you follow along, which makes it easy for people who are new to the software or have not created beats before. These videos also give you a great introduction to what the main features are of the program and how to actually use the software. You can watch and learn very quickly, and you will not get lost trying to search for what you want to do next.

- It is very easy to use, so you won't waste time fumbling around, all of the interfaces inside of the program are point, click and drop. There is nothing messy about the Dub Turbo software. It's easy to replicate any of the 16 tracks (YES! it has a 16 track sequencer!) because of the copy and edit features. You can also look at some of the built in tracks to see how a great beat is built!

This is actually how most people start. Take one of the premium samples you like, and change it around so most of the elements are different, make a few more tweaks and you have laid down your first track.
Dub Turbo absolutely teaches you the basics, and then some. Sound mixing is about sequencing at its core. You'll learn these skills and be able to practice and hone them at a price that's pretty inexpensive before going out and spending loads of money on big name software.

Overall, what do I think?

 



Dub Turbo otherwise known as the most inclusive beat software online, in my eyes is the best non fluff software on exactly how to make dub-step beats online. The writers of the software did an excellent job and are industry experts (and it truly does show!). The software is packed from start to finish with cutting edge techniques to make studio quality dub-step music. In fact I've learned a few golden nuggets I could use in making my own dub-step beats. If you are currently thinking about making your own beats, bass, or dub-step. I definitely feel you should pick up Dub Turbo learn from the inside-out! You won't regret it!
