I am a classical music composer and computer musician currently living in Colorado in the United States.  I write music both for acoustic instruments, as well as music for acoustic instruments with computer interaction.

I have been actively invloved with computer music since I was an undergraduate at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore in the 1980s, and taught computer music courses at the musical research center IRCAM in Paris, France, in the 1990s. After completing my Ph.D. in music composition at the University of California, Berkeley, I've continued to teach computer music at various workshops in the U.S. and Europe, although I principally work for Cycling '74, Inc., as one of the main audio developers for the computer music software Max/MSP.

My next composition using technology is going to be a piano piece (with computer interaction) for Ivan.
