How to Play 21 Duel Blackjack

21 Duel Blackjack is very similar to regular Blackjack in that the object of the game is still to beat the dealer. However, one of the differences is that with this game, unlike regular Blackjack you are able to use community cards. This option is also available in games such as Texas Hold 'Em.

In 21 Duel Blackjack, there is also a side bet. This is an extra winning option. This type of Blackjack poker is played with six decks of cards, and is played on an original sized Blackjack table. With this game, you are able to play three hands at once. As in regular Blackjack, the aim is still the same. You want to beat the dealer by getting your cards closer to the total of 21 than the dealer does, without actually exceeding this limit. If you go over, this will force you to bust and the dealer then wins, regardless of what his or her hand may have been.

With 21 Duel Blackjack, the card values are very similar to that of regular Blackjack. Tens and face cards count as ten, and aces count as 1 or 11 depending on which number better suits your hand. All other cards hold their face value. With 21 Duel Blackjack, there is no equivalent to a Blackjack hand. All of the score hands of 21 are equal.

With 21 Duel Blackjack, there is one main difference from regular Blackjack and the way the hands are formed. For example, there are two communal cards that are dealt to both the player and the dealer. They use these communal cards to form their hands. Let's say for example that you are the player. You would be dealt one face up card and one face down card. You then need to combine your face up card with one of the communal cards in order to make the best possible hand.

With 21 Duel Blackjack, you also have to place an additional bet which is equal to the ante bet. If your total of these two cards are still too low, you may choose to use your face down card to help up your total. You need to be careful in doing this, as you do not want to go over 21 and cause the dealer to win. Even if the dealer has a bust as well, they still win as it is always the player who acts first. However, if your hand is still bad you can then choose to fold and forfeit your ante.

With 21 Duel Blackjack, the basic flow of the dealer's hands is the exact same as the players, but they have to play by much stricter rules. For example, the dealer has to raise his cards until he has a minimum of 17. The dealer hand also has to equal at least 13 before their hand can qualify in the game.
