Join The Fun In Dungeon Fighter Online
Dungeon Fighter Online brings the fun of old-school arcade-style side-scrolling fighting action to massively multiplayer online play.
I had the chance to participate in both the closed and open beta stages, and if you're wondering, yes, it is every bit as fun as it looks.
It's also free to play, so choose your path from the intriguing classes and join us.
The Classes of Dungeon Fighter Online

There are five classes you can choose from to begin. So far, the mage and fighter are only available as females, with the other three only as males. Don't let that stop you! They're all a blast to play. The overseas version has recently unveiled a female gunner, as well as a new thief class; we can probably safely expect these to make their way to our version, as well as other improvements be made, in time.
Fighter - a close-range brawler, using boxing gloves, claws, gauntlets, knuckles, and tontas. At level 18 they can branch into Nen Masters (life draining abilities, acrobatic), Strikers (fast, pure fighter), Brawlers (uses blades, poisons, and dirty tricks), or Grapplers (grab and throw their opponents).
Gunner - tall, gun-wielders, using autoguns, bow guns, hand cannons, muskets, and revolvers. At level 18 they can branch into Rangers (fast, specialize in using revolvers), Launchers (heavy weapon specialists), Mechanics (use robots), Spitfires (elemental damage using bullets and grenades for area of effect attacks and status effects).
Mage - tiny, lolita-looking, magic users who wield broomsticks, poles, rods, spears, or staves. At level 18 they can branch into Elementalist (control the four elements Fire, Ice, Light, and Shadow), Summoners (summon spirits or creatures), Battle Mages (use weapons and closer range attacks), Witches (contraptions and alchemy).
Priest - brawler type who uses a little healing. They wield battle axes, crosses, rosaries, scythes, and totems. At level 18 they can branch into Crusaders (buff spells and healing spells), Monks (close-range brawlers), or Exorcists (either magic casters or physical types, specializing in the use of their weapons and/or friendly spirits).
Slayer - melee swordsman, using bludgeon weapons, katanas, light sabers, short swords, and zanbatos. At level 18 they can branch into Blade Masters (focuses on swordsmanship), Berserkers (throw themselves into the fight and sacrifice their own health to deal damage), Soul Benders (utilize the demon in order to provide bonus effects or deal damage), or Asuras (sacrifice vision in order to gain powers).

Dungeon Fighter Online Class Builds
What build you'd best take, for any class, depends entirely on your preference and play style. Use the time from level 1 to 18 to experiment with the skills from the different skill sets, which give you a taste of the advanced classes, to see which matches you best.
When you take the job advancement at level 18, you character's skill points will be reset, and you'll have a better idea of which path you want to follow. Then focus on that path's skills.
