What is Dungeoneer?
Dungeoneer is a grim fantasy world where steel meets magic, heroes clash with horrific monsters, and valiant quests await to be completed by brave champions.

Dungeoneer is an XCG (expandable card game), it is not collectable! Each set is a complete game and you do not need to buy any other sets. However, if you like the game it is supported with new expansions (which are each a complete game in their own right!) that you can purchase to expand the game world. All about Dungeoneer

The scoop on Dungeoneer

Dungeoneer is a card game, although actually plays very much like a board game, of dungeon delving and fantasy adventure. If you have ever played board games like Talisman, Heroquest, or Runebound then Dungeoneer will feel very similar to you. If you have ever played Dungeons and Dragons or another fantasy based roleplaying game Dungeoneer will feel like a board/card game version of that.

The goal of Dungeoneer is to complete quests. Each player has their own quests to complete. Each player takes on the role of a different character with different abilities. Characters advance as the complete quests.

Dungeoneer has a unique mechanic and turn order. On your turn the first thing you do is take on the role of the dungeon lord. In that phase of the game you play your opponents peril against them by playing cards from your hand that represent encounters in the dungeon.
