Duro-Med Steel 3-Wheel Rollator - style, function, and elegance

The Duro-Med Steel 3-Wheel Rollator is just the right choice for a portable, reliable, stylish handicap walker. The 3 wheels on this walker give stablility for those who don't really need to lean heavily on a walker but rather need it for just a bit of support.

The Duro-Med Steel 3-Wheel Rollator comes complete with a pouch to store personal items or assist when shopping - heck, a small dog would probably ride along happily. This walker is suitable for indoor or outdoor use and comes with large 8" airless tires which means you'll never have a flat and this handicap walker will safely guide you over any bumpy surface.

Duro-Med Steel 3-Wheel Rollator, Royal Blue

Well, if you need a walker to get around and don't need to lean on it heavily for stability (a 2 wheel walker would be your better choice there), the Duro-Med 3-Wheel Rollator just might fit the bill. This walker is very portable and, with large tires, it can roll over about anything, including small dogs (train them to stay away!). My Mom uses a 2 wheeled handicap walker at the moment but, if she were more mobile, we'd have this Duro-Med on both floors of our house.

The Duro-Med 3-Wheel Rollator product reviews

With a 4.3 rating out of 5 stars, the Duro-Med Steel 3-Wheel Walker is one of the top rated walkers in Amazon's line of mobility equipment. The below are some of the common comments about this particular walker:
  1. This walker is lighter to transport than a 4 wheel walker so makes using it in different places much easier.
  2. The walker folds flat for easy transport in the car and is very easy to set back up - just 2 clicks and you're on a roll (sorry for the pun). Also, a nice feature is that, when the Duro-Med 3-wheel Rollator is folded for transport, the wheels angle out so it won't scoot around the back of the car on its own.
  3. The attached carrying bag is perfect for small packages or purses. You can even pack a light picnic lunch for a nice summer outing.
  4. This walker is ready to go right out of the box with the most minimal of assembly - putting the handlebars into position. How the heck easy is that?!

I just saw a guy doing a 3 mile walk on the post Hurricane Irene leaf, stick and sand strewn trails in our local park. His walker looked quite similar to this one.

I'd never seen one of these. Looks like a souped up walker for grannies on the go. I like it!

I am the caregiver to my 94 year old Mom, Gertie

I've been my Mom's caregiver for 5 years now, since her husband of 65.5 years died. I couldn't be happier to be the one she chose to live with as these last years have afforded me a wonderful time to get to know my Mom. I love her dearly.
