Flag of the Netherlands on CafePress

The purpose of this lens is to promote designs using the Dutch Flag, or Flag of the Netherlands, in my shop, AmeriYank's AmeriWear.

My grandmother was of Dutch ancestry, being descended from a Hubert Vandebogaard, who was a surgeon in one of the first Dutch colonies in what is now New York. So, these designs are especially fun for me to create.

Below, you will find descriptions, pictures, and, sometimes, a little story about the designs.

GAMAAKT IN NEDERLAND

Made in the Netherlands

An email exchange with a person I never met in Holland led to this design. I wanted to say "Made in Holland", so the kind person told me how.

Assembled in the USA

using Dutch Parts

I love this design because it gives me the opportunity to share my pride in being of Dutch heritage and, also, in being an American.

Design shows both Flags of the Netherlands and the USA. Reads, "Assembled in the USA using Dutch parts."

Great fun for Dutch-Americans.

Heart-shaped Flag of the Netherlands

Sweet design shows heart-shaped Flag of Holland. Great for Dutch-Americans and anyone of Dutch ancestry.

Below, you will see a small sampling of products available with this design. To see all of them, visit here.

The Flag of the Netherlands

No site with flag designs would be complete without a simple, no nonsense, flag of the country in question.

On clothing, you have a choice. T-shirts, raglans, and other items with a large image of the Flag of the Netherland on front AND back can be found here.

Clothing with a large image of the Flag of Holland on the front ONLY, no image on the back, can be found here.

If you are looking for gifts and other merchandise, you can find cards, posts, clocks and many other items here.

sorry to rain on your parade, but the word is "gemaakt" with an "e" instead of "gamaakt" if you're talking 'official' Dutch. Problem is that our language is extremely dialectual, and many speakers use alternative words or spellings. But yeah, just thought I'd give you the heads up :)
