Finally... You Will Learn How to Play Piano

But a funny thing happened in those last twenty years. It's called the Internet. And it's made the impossible easy.

It wasn't too long ago that to learn how to play piano - you had to go to an instructor. Or get one to come to you. If someone said you could "learn to play piano over the phone," you'd think they were crazy.

Crazy Like A Fox

But now you literally can learn how to play piano "over the phone." Or cable, or broadband or whatever means you use to access the web.

Play Piano Tonight is your private online piano lessons resource, whenever you want.

The Play Piano Tonight Difference

Heck - you and I know that there's more than one website promising to teach you how to play piano. And I'll be honest - some aren't bad at all. But let me tell you why Play Piano Tonight is different. Even unique.

Here it goes: The other sites just give you piano lessons. Here - you'll get piano lessons directly from me. I know what works and what doesn't. I "gig" every night! But more importantly, I am a recording artist. I'm going to teach you how to "interpret" lead sheets to be able to play piano proficiently, as quickly as humanly possible.

DVD Piano Lessons

Other play piano online courses can teach you the basics. But you don't want just the basics. You want to play piano "your music." Play piano music that you like. Play piano music that you want to hear. Play piano music that inspires you - and not just the instructor. When you sit down and play piano - you want to play your songs.

That's the unique advantage you'll get here. Send me the piano music that you want to learn. I'll deconstruct it and teach you how it's played. We'll "tear" your song apart. You'll easily understand and learn how to play it yourself.

Just imagine the fun you'll be having learning how to play piano!

Finally playing real piano music on your own. In no time at all.

How Does It Work?

So just how does this online piano program work? It's really very easy! All you basically need is an internet connection and a piano or keyboard to practice on. That's it.

Learn to Play Piano - Step By Step

You see, I'm going to take you by the hand and show you - step by step - exactly how to play the piano! You're going to learn in the privacy of your own home, and at your own pace. You're even going to practice on and learn songs that you want to hear and play.

Learn To Play Piano

It's easier than ever! These days you learn to play piano with a traditional teacher, with a book, online, by DVD, and by CD. The hard part is choosing what's right for you.

Teacher: If you want to learn with a teacher, you just have to find one. If you want to learn using a book, I would recommend using a teacher also. Ask around to see if people you know, know of a good piano teacher.

When you contact the teacher, ask if they are willing to use the Piano Adventures series of books. For children or adults, it is the best series around right now.

Online: There are lots of good options for learning online. You can learn online much cheaper than with a teacher. One good product is Rocket Piano. It's under $40 which is excellent.

Learn online if you are an adult and you are okay with not getting much feedback. There's more freedom to learn different styles of piano. You can learn on your own schedule. These programs are getting better and better.

DVD: There is one product I would recommend for learning by DVD. It's from Mr. Ron's Music. He has a good introductory course by DVD but it's more expensive at $147. This is still less than traditional lessons but more than online lessons.

You can find many DVD's teaching different styles of piano. Do this after you've done a beginner course. Some DVD teachers assume you already know the basics while others will cover some basics.

CD: You can find some books that come with CD's that teach you how to play piano. This is my least favourite method of learning to play piano however.

There are not many visual examples - only what's in the accompanying book. Often the CD will show you only what the song should sound like. To learn to play piano you need a little more than that.

You need to find what suits you the best. Think about your learning style. What kind of flexibility do you need?

If you need some more in depth information on these topics you can visit our website for lots of free information on piano and piano lessons.

April Wright has been playing piano and enjoying it for more than 20 years. To share this passion with others she has created http://www.piano-lessons-info.com, a site where you can find all kinds of free information on playing the piano. Piano Lessons Online

Piano lessons online can be a very cost effective way to learn the piano. The cost of private tuition can seem expensive, however, there are plenty of mediums available where piano lessons can be arrange online.

The benefits of learning to play the piano online should not be disregarded. One of the main benefits is cost. Most piano teachers, for a good teacher, will charge approximately $40 to $50 per hour, as a minimum. Many teachers are worth this fee, however, it equates to over $2,000 per year.

There are many available piano lessons online. Many are just like having the piano tutor in your own room, but with substantially less cost. Ive seen really bad piano teachers charging a lot of money to provided basic piano tuition and quite frankly, the cost of the lesson compared with what they teach and the support they give is not comparable.

For a much, much lower cost, you can learn the piano online. If you are committed to learning an instrument and are willing to put in the time and effort, many online piano resources will cater for your need perfectly well. With electronic media as it stands, and the competition, the best place to start for good piano lessons is the internet. The worst case scenario is that you will stop playing the piano and you might have only paid $30-40 for the lessons. You may decided to return to the lessons at a later date, and providing you still have them saved to your hard drive or wherever you decide to save them, you can easily access them again without any further cost.

It might also be an idea if you are going to learn the piano online, to consider tutors that have forums and can be contacted with questions. Many online lessons now have as part of the package the option to have support from a teacher and performer included in the cost.

So where to start with piano lessons online. Please use the below link as a resource to online piano lessons:

Great lens. I agree that online piano lessons can be a cost effective way to learn. For one thing, you're not spending so much on gas to commute back and forth. Easy piano lessons are everywhere and there's so much that can be learned online. It's especially helpful when you live in a small town like I do and there are not many piano teachers. It's tough to get a spot and their schedules can be less than ideal. Nice to meet another piano lover.
