I'm sure you've all seen the commercials for the Dyson Ball Vacuum Cleaner. In case you haven't, it's the one with a ball located at its base which allows you to maneuver it with ease. This makes it very easy to navigate with and vacuum around edges and so fourth. That's wonderful and great and all and it's a nice bonus. Even though that is the main feature advertised with this amazing machine, it's not the best feature. Personally, I see it as a nice bonus.
What really makes this vacuum stand out is its suction and availability to clean. When I say clean I mean cleaner than clean! One of Dyson's claims to fame with their new line of vacuum cleaners is that it can get already clean floors even cleaner. What they do is use another highly rated vacuum cleaner, such as a Hoover and vacuum clean a room. Of course the room looks nice and clean. They then go over the same exact room with the Dyson Vacuum cleaner and BAM! The canister fills up with almost as much dirt as the other vacuum did cleaning the room.

The new Dyson upright vacuums ride on a ball so they can be steered with ease. Gone are the days of pushing and pulling around corners and annoying obstacles. The Root Cyclone technology incorporated into the Dyson vacuum cleaners make for much more efficiency and are also much better for the environment.Traditional vacuum bags trap dirt & dust while expelling air through millions of tiny holes. Over time these holes clog and cause the vacuum to lose suction.
The Root Cyclone Technology in Dyson vacuum does not use bags. They spin extremely fast and fling dirt & dust into the clear bin. Because of this, they never lose their suction power.

Any CONs to the Dyson Ball Vacuum?
1) The Dyson Ball Vacuum is not FREE:
I don't like the fact that I have to pay for the best vacuum cleaner on the market. I don't want to have to pay to breathe cleaner air in my own home, reduce my allergy issues, and have a home thats twice as clean. This is one of my main gripes with the Dyson Ball Vacuum and I'm sure the rest of you don't feel clean air and a clean home should come at an expense. Who knows, maybe Santa will come throught his year!
2) The Cord:
Through much extensive research, I've seen only one gripe mentioned throughout hundreds of reviews; "the cord could be longer" I've personally never had a vacuum cleaner in which I was satisified with the length of the cord and that I had to use a different outlet for different sections of the house. Fortunately for us, we now have this wonderful technology available to us known as an extension cord. This handy device plugs into the outlet and then the item you want to extend plus into the extension cord, thereby making it longer....AMAZING!
I prefer the one below as there is no need for an expensive, industrial extension cord to use with a vacuum:
