E85 Conversion Kits

Here are detailed instructions (video and text) on how to install E85 conversion kits. An E85 conversion kit connects to your vehicles fuel injector. Installation can be broken down into 7 steps.

Step 1 - Locate the car's fuel injectors. (If you can not see the fuel injectors, the car's plenum must be removed. While this is a simple and quick procedure, it is recommended you have a certified mechanic do the installation.)

Step 2 - Disconnect the car's fuel injectors

Step 3 - Plug the conversion kits female connector into the car's male fuel injector. Then plug the corresponding conversion kits male connector into the car's female fuel injector. Repeat process for all fuel injectors.

Step 4 - Connect the ground wire to the negative terminal on the battery, the engine or the firewall, by removing the screw from the battery, engine, or firewall. Thread the 1 or 2 eyelets (1 for 4-cylinder kits; 2 for 6 & 8-cylinder kits) with the screw before re-screwing.

Step 5 - Double check to make sure everything is securely connected. Attach the conversion kit to any location where the kit can be secured using the enclosed tie straps, but at least 12 inches from any exhaust components.

Step 6 - It is recommended that you drive your kit on straight gasoline for a minimum of 60 miles. If the check engine light does not come on after 60 miles then you are ready for E85.
