Looking for your favorite one of a kind collectibles, clothing, books, etc?

Have you noticed that it's getting harder and harder to find your favorite items at eBay? The small sellers that brought you the best vintage, one of a kind pottery, china, antiques and hundreds of other antiques and collectibles are leaving in droves because of some changes eBay has made to their selling policies.

Stay at home/work at home moms who have been trying to earn extra money on eBay are finding it more and more difficult to do so. This is making it really hard to shop for gently used baby clothes, kids clothes and toys, very popular items!

These changes have forced most of our favorite sellers right off the site in favor of the huge sellers of mass-produced and/or drop shipped items.

So where did they go?

Well, dear readers, they moved away from eBay. Some went on to other auction sites called "eBay alternative auction sites." Some sellers even built their own stores either on marketplace sites like Blujay, eCrater or a fully hosted ecommerce site.

This lens invites former eBay sellers who have moved to such other places to add their links below.

I urge eBay shoppers to check out these sellers and support them in their efforts to support themselves. If you love to shop like I do, please visit these fine sellers at their new venues and buy from them there.

Thank You! A very refreshing squidoo lens! Hope to cross paths again! Check out GoAntiques, another place that will soon be starting their online auction site very similar to the "old school" ebay. Presently you can sell fixed priced listings but the auction format is on it's way!

It was (is) Ebay that has (is) written off the sellers and buyers.

Nice lens, 5-stars for you. I think a major reason for the mass exit is that sellers can no longer leave negative feedback. That can cause a seller major problems. And with that threat gone, it emboldens(some) buyers to demand unreasonable things. This can make it very difficult to earn a decent profit. Just my 2-cents worth.

Where have all the eBay sellers gone? This one, not far! As an eBay seller, I love that you managed to accomplish this lens without being overly negative about eBay. I think choice is a very good thing...choice for the buyer and for the seller...but I guess you have written eBay off totally since you don't feature it as a Shopper's Resource....
