We wouldn't be here if we werern't a family. Mom and Dad got married and we came along. Dad is sometimes hard to buy a gift for on Father's Day isn't it? Father's Day is the third Sunday of June. For dad on his day you could try something new like an e-card. How about something old like going to the neighborhood mall and picking out something special just for 'dear old dad and add a card too. You can even combine the new and the old for the perfect gift for Father's Day. Somehow you'll do the right thing just specially for your own dad. Whether you go online for a gift at your favorite store or send an e-card to dear old dad, nothing can replace the years you spent growing up with the memories of him. Like the Oreo commercial of a father and son across the miles connected with laptops or the telephone that connects the two of you it is to stay connected throughout time for we'll only have one mother and father throughout time. Happy Father's Day!

October 8, 2000 from President William J. Clinton, Childrens Day began. You and I were once children too and I feel very pleasant with this new Childrens Day. In Japan they celebrate Boys Day and Girls Day too. a> is celebrated on May 5TH annually. Girl's Day is on March 3RD of every year.

May Day in Hawaii.

Giving and receiving of flower leis began "poet and Honolulu Star Bulletin writer Don Blanding in 1927. He and columnist Grace Tower Warren decided the event should be on May 1st and they introduced the phrase "May Day is Lei Day"."

May the celebration of spring kicks off here in Hawaii with celebrations with flowers!
May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii. Then comes April and the celebration of Easter in Hawaii.

1. Moanalua Gardens Foundation proudly brings to you, Prince Lot Hula Festival XXXII.
9-4PM at Moanalua Gardens, Oahu, Hawaii in honor of Prince Lot Kapuaiwa, King Kamehameha V. It's a non-competitive hula festival.

In June we have a statewide celebration of King Kamehameha Day with parades, arts and crafts, and more!
