The eHow Dolly Tour Stops Off in New Jersey!
eHow Dolly is making a trip all around the United States on her 2009-2010 adventure! She is stopping in to visit many of the writers on eHow.com who are eager to play host to Dolly! Dolly lives in Hawaii with her mom who is our very own veryirie who writes for eHow. She has sent Dolly on her way to Maine and will make stops in New York and Pennsylvania before arriving here in New Jersey! Here we will show her a great time visiting many of our favorite spots. We may take a trip into Philly to do a little holiday shopping as well! Stay tuned!

Dolly is in Pennsylvania right now enjoying some holiday fun in Philly with a fellow eHow writer Shari L. I can't wait for Dolly to take a trip across to NJ and arrive here just in time to celebrate Christmas! What a blast we are going to have! We are getting ready for her arrival!
eHow Dolly arrived for a visit!
We are so excited to meet Dolly! She arrived yesterday just before a big snow storm so she is feeling the excitement of being snowed in! Dolly arrived to us with Candy Canes and a bumper sticker in hand for me and our children compliments of my fellow eHow writer Shari L. She leaped out of her box and wanted to check everyone out right away! The first thing that she saw was our Christmas tree! Dolly came with gifts from Philly!
Dolly helps with our Christmas cookies!
Well, as you can see, Dolly was a big help last night making our Christmas cookies! We make 12 different kinds and 1000s of cookies when its all over! Dolly LOVED doing the sprinkles on the cookies! She stayed up really late with me and chatted about her life in Hawaii! Oh how I wish I could come and visit her one day! Her mom, eHow writer Pam Irie, (known on eHow as veryirie), is one of my dear friends! Dolly checks out the cold weather and Christmas lights!
We had a ball checking out the neighborhood Christmas lights! Dolly loved all of the beautiful colors! We sat out back on our porch afterwards so that she could see our decorations! We are snowed in!
Well, Dolly woke up to our children running through the house announcing that the snow was here! We are snowed in all day and about to have lots of fun! We've got more baking to do, Christmas gift wrapping, snowman making and lots more! We will keep you posted on all of Dolly's adventures this week in NJ! The 5 of us have lots of plans for her! Two feet of snow!!
Wow! Dear Dolly woke up to 2 feet of snow in NJ this morning! Lauren's kids are going crazy with excitement! Snowed in?? Not this family! We LIVE for snow! Come on Dolly...we know its not Hawaii but a Winter Wonderland, when bundled up properly, can be tons of fun! You'll see! Dolly checks out the snow!
Wahooooo! I am a snowboarder!
The kids have showed Dolly how to snowboard and she picked it up fast! Now she can snowboard with her Dad! Watch out for this little dare devil the next time you are on the slopes! Dolly warming up by the fire.
After a long afternoon of snowboarding, Dolly came in to warm up by the fire. Notice her Dolly Tour mug! She really loved using it and thought it was a GREAT picture of her!! eHow Dolly says "Go Eagles!"

Dolly was delighted to help put cookies and milk out for Santa!! We didn't forget the reindeer too! Carrots were put out for them to nibble on as well! Dolly heads to Atlantic City, NJ to check out the night life and shopping!
Visting Lucy the Elephant
Lucy is the world's largest elephant, and the only one in America designated as a National Historic Landmark. Lucy stands at six stories tall, weighs 90 tons, and is covered with 12,000 square feet of sheet tin. She was built in 1881 and has been used as a real estate office, as a summer home, even briefly as a tavern, until unruly drunks nearly burned her down. She is a great place to visit at the Jersey Shore! Dolly thought that she was amazing!

Shrivers Candy!
We were so excited to show Dolly our favorite candy store on the Ocean City boardwalk! This is the best place to find old fashioned candy as well as fudge when you come to visit! You can even see them make salt water taffy here! Oh Dolly! You are in for a TREAT!! Mack and Manco's Pizza!

- Yes, I'm kinda late in visiting this lens. lol!!! I've just been so busy lately. It looks like Dolly had a great time. I bet she was shocked by all that snow being from Hawaii and all. Blessed by an Angel.
