How I earn money online
Over the past year, I have becoming increasingly interested in researching ways to earn money online. We have a lot of debt, and while I am working on building up multiple good streams of income both off and online, I think it's very important for young people to save as much as they can as early as possible.
I have developed this multiple tiered system of earning money in my spare time, and it earns me a few hundred extra dollars a month, on top of my full time and part time jobs. Some of the tasks described below require more effort than others, so consider how much time you want to devote to this.

Earn money online by searching

Right now, you can get free money online by searching the web from Swag Bucks. They'll give you 3 bucks just for signing up and they frequently release codes for free bucks in addition to the ones you get randomly for your websearches.
Earn Money Online by completing offers
There are two kinds of offers you can use to earn money online through PTC: free offers and paid offers. Free offers generally consist of surveys or newsletter sign ups, and pay between 25 cents and $1 each. Paid offers are usually more lucrative offers, and you can earn up to $50 for one offer, but they cost money.
One great way to earn money online with PTC sites is by completing free or $1 trial offers. These generally pay between $10 and $20 each, and cost you almost nothing as long as you remember to cancel. Simply write the cancellation date on your calendar along with the phone number, and you can make a profit of $15-$20 for close to 5 minutes of work.

Earn Money online with these sites
- Deal Barbie
- Deal Barbie is my favorite GPT site because they are very consistent and fair. The webmistress is a former deal buster herself, so she takes care of her members.
- Cash Crate
- Cash Crate is newer to me, but it looks like they have more varied offers with some higher payouts.
- Instant Profitz
- This is the first GPT site that I signed up for. They have the highest payouts for many offers, but their customer service is not always that great.
- Inbox Dollars
- This site has some great offers to sign up for, plus they send emails almost daily that pay a few cents each to read. They payout at $40.
- Send Earnings
- Similar to Inbox Dollars, Send Earnings sends out emails daily that link to offers you can complete. This is a slow but steady way to earn money online.
Earn money online by writing
The best way to earn money online by writing is by submitting to large magazines. These often pay between $0.10 and $1 per word, which can be extremely lucrative. You are, however, likely to get some rejections.
Some sites allow you to earn money by submitting articles to their databases. They will pay you for each article, based on how good the article is, how likely it is to be found by search engines, and what kind of rights you are willing to offer.
Other sites allow you to earn based on how often your content is read. These sites will not pay very much at first, but will allow you to build up income over time, even if you don't write any more content.
It's up to you which kinds of sites are best for you. I, as I said, recommend using a variety of techniques to guarantee you will earn money online consistently.
Sites where you can earn money by writing
Associated Content offers both upfront payment and performance payment on any articles that you publish. They also allow you to link to your blog or website, providing additional exposure.
My Lot
My lot pays you to add to discussions. It's just like writing on a forum, except you get paid!
Squidoo
Right here of course! Most people don't realize that you can get paid every month just for building and maintaining fresh, high quality lenses on Squidoo.
Earn money online by clicking and reading
Most PTC sites pay between 1/4 cent and 5 cents per click. While you won't get rich this way, it's an easy way to earn some extra money online in your spare time.
Earn money online with referrals
There are many great ways to get referrals. You can tell your friends, you can post to your blog or your Squidoo lens, or you can trade referrals with people who have goals similar to yours.
Two sites I've recently checked out for getting referrals are Get Ref and Star Referrals. These sites allow you to accumulate points by doing things like completing sponsor offers, viewing ads, or signing up for other people's programs. These points, in turn, can be used to promote your own referral links. Since these sites are frequented by people looking to earn money online, you will often find good quality referrals.
PTC sites that earn you money online
- Hits 4 Pay
- Hits4Pay is one of the best paid to click sites out there. They pay 2 cents per click, and send out about 4 or 5 websites a day, sometimes more. You can request payment once you have accumulated $25. Plus, when you sign up, get a $10 bonus!
- Dealsncash
- Dealsncash is a newer site from the makers of hits4pay. They don't send out as many links as Hits4Pay, but they pay a little more (between 2 and 5 cents per click). $5 bonus for sign up.
- Dollar Click or Signup
- Pays 1 cent for each link, 100% of first level referral earnings, and pays out at $1
- Snap Dollars
- Pays 3 cents or more per link, plus pays for offers. $30 payout.
