Earth Weather

This lens is here to look at Earth's weather and learn more about it gradually. Here I will collect and curate on one webpage useful, educational and entertaining information, pics, vids, lenses, links and more about weather on earth and related topics.

I opened this lens to continue my self-education about meteorological phenomena and to keep up a handy cheat sheet for related science writing.

Also, I will include climate science references and resources, though climate is about global, long term changes, involving many science fields at once and weather is about relatively local, shorter term, mostly meteorological conditions and phenomena.

Climate and weather are interrelated in many complex ways, I understand. Scientists in many fields are studying the interconnecting patterns and processes of just how, exactly, they interact.

Folks all around the world are introducing this vast, favorite topic (of topics) every day by "shooting the breeze" or "talking about the weather."
