The most beautiful pieces of jewelry are those that are handcrafted and totally unique. No two pieces are ever exactly the same and the care, time and creativity that goes into each piece makes it something very special to wear. Of all the jewelry a woman owns, those pieces most complimented and noticed are the ones that are handcrafted and completely original.

It's said that people remember the jewelry you were wearing longer than they remember the clothes you had on. Make an impact on the world. Wear something as unique as you are.

Elegant Crystals Chandelier Earrings

Created by Jill Cape, 2006

These earrings have coral and clear Swarovski crystals. I actually gave these away to a friend of mine.

Shell Pansy Stretch-cord Choker

Created by Jill Cape, 2006

This is a beachy, stretch choker made from shells and beads. The pansy is carved from a coral-tinted shell. The cracked accent beads are a vibrant orange. Tiny gold spacers complete the look.

Shades of Blue Bead Brick Necklace

This necklace was designed using simple square and crystal cut beads in shades of blue, accented with round silver beads. The "brick" is made from head pins and 3-hole spacers and the clasp is silver with insets of small blue Swarovski crystals.

Delicate Shell and Seed Bead Necklace

This necklace was designed using a pretty leaf-cut shell as the focus. The remainder of the necklace was created using seed beads in shades of orange and sea green with a few glass beads as accents.

Turquoise and Red Stone Chandalier Earrings

These chandalier earrings were created with turquoise and red stones dangling from a silver sun shape. The overall feel is one of Native American.

Hi 4crazydogs, Great lens . I really enjoyed the articles . I have also created a lens ??.Have you glanced into your local jewelry store lately? Unless there happens to be a major women's gift holiday around the corner, they probably looked a little desolate. "Brick and mortar" jewelry stores seem to be falling on hard times recently, and one contributing factor is the growth of online jewelry auctions sites. click here
