The Easiest PS3 Trophy Games
The thing about this list is that it will not totally be biased towards what I think is the easiest, because if you scroll down you will find a poll where hopefully the readers of this article will participate in. But be warned, just because one person thinks the trophies are easy other people may think they are rock hard. Basically, if its your type of game you stand a better chance of getting the platinum.

Burnout Paradise
Burnout Paradise, in my opinion, is the easiest of the trophy games. Basically I think this because for one I'm good at it and for two it is my favourite PS3 game so far. I had fully completed the game before the trophy patch came out, so naturally it was easy for me to Platinum this game.
Burnout Paradise for those that don't know is a free roam arcade style racing game. While your not racing you can spend hours just exploring the town, doing stunts and generally having fun. But when you are racing you can smash the other cars of the road and get what is know as a takedown. It is an unbelievable experience for anyone who enjoys arcade racing, but not as good if you like the simulation racing games like Grand Turismo 5 Prologue and Grid.
The Burnout Paradise trophies are so easy because you only have to complete approximately 70% of the game to get ALL of the trophies, including the Platinum and some of these trophies you get for silliest things. For example, one of the trophies is for inviting a friend to an online game, all you have to do for the trophy is invite them, they don't even have to accept.
Personally I think Sony should not have allowed Criterion to release this trophy patch like this, because quite honestly it makes a joke of the trophy system. It's basically like saying you bought our game here is a Platinum trophy for doing so, they are that easy. Also it has a rather controversial trophy which you need the Playstation Eye for and it is another stupid trophy, basically if someone takes you down and you have the Playstation Eye the person who takes you down gets a snapshot of you (or whatever your Playstation Eye is pointed at) and the silly thing is you get the trophy for it.
Quantum of Solace

The Quantum of Solace game is of course a game of the film but unlike the film it is actually good. It follows the story of Quantum of Solace until a character asks Daniel Craig, I mean James Bond how he got to be doing what he is doing and then the story does a flashback on the Casino Royale story.
Overall the game is fairly easy until you try it on the 007 difficulty level and then it becomes quite a challenge. The trophies are split evenly between online and offline play. For people who like games like Call of Duty they will have no problem with the online trophies, personally I am rubbish at these type of games online and have very little patience for them.
If you just play the offline section and have no motivation to hunt the trophies you can finish the game and only receive 17% of the trophies (I know this as I know someone who fits that profile). But if you persevere you should be able to get the platinum fairly easily.
Alone in the Dark: Inferno

Alone in the Dark: Inferno was first released on the XBox360 and got some horrendous reviews, so the programmers actually listened to the feedback they got and fixed most of the worst parts of the 360 version.
Personally, I really enjoyed this game and it only has a few parts that can be construed as annoying and hard. It has a fairly good story and puzzles that will make you think and not have you pulling your hair out like some games do.
As this game has no online section it is probably the easiest game to gain a platinum trophy in.
Call of Duty: World at War

By all accounts Call of Duty: World at War is another easy platinum. Some people who usually only buy these games for the excellent online section have admitted that they actually played through the single player campaign on this one just because of the trophies. With the trophies being fairly easy it also makes the single player campaign more appealing.
I haven't really played any of the Call of Duty series so the trophies would probably be a lot tougher for me. But again this is supposed to be another easy trophy game.

Buzz has got to be the only game that I know of where you can get ALL of the trophies through an exploit. So if you take the exploit into consideration it is THE easiest trophy game out there.
Unfortunately though if you want to get the platinum in the legitimate way you will be hard pressed to do it as it has some online trophies and the online community for this version of Buzz is pratically non-existant. But if you have a friend who has got the game the online trophies are easily boostable.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Uncharted is the game that puts Tomb Raider to shame and it was given a new lease of life when it was released on the Platinum label with a nice shiny platinum trophy to go with it.
A lot of people say this is the easiest of the Trophy games (I have to disagree with this) but most of the people who say it got the platinum for this when there were only two games with platinum trophies (Uncharted and Buzz) and they didn't have any other trophy game to distract them.
I would agree though that 46 of the 48 trophies are easy (because that is how many I have), but the crushing mode is exactly that, crushing. You need a lot of patience to get the Uncharted platinum.

This is the point on Uncharted where I gave up after giving it a good go. The person who recorded this YouTube video says that it took them two hours to get past this bit. But if you are like me and are stuck here, watch and see how it is not done and then how it is done (the video shows him failing a few times before he got it right).
Little Big Planet

Yet another easy Platinum trophy comes from the game Little Big Planet. This exclusive Playstation 3 title features an unlikely hero in the guise of Sackboy.
The hardest of the Little Big Planet trophies is acheived by creating a good level that gets hearted by a good proportion of the community, of course to acheive these you can beg on forums for people to play your levels, this can be very time consuming but it will get you some hearts as long as you are willing to heart the other person back. This corrupt way of getting hearts have put some of the worst levels ever created on the first page of the community levels and it makes it difficult to find decent levels.

At first I wasn't going to add this title because it is a fairly time consuming game, but it is easy. Mercenaries 2 is the only game that I know of that the bugs in it actually help you to get the trophies, without the bugs 2 of the the trophies would be very hard.
One of the problems with the game though is that the multi-player is very hit and miss, sometimes the servers work okay, other times they don't and for some strange reason you may find that you can't connect to some of your friends but can connect to others.
I enjoyed this game so much I played through it twice (first time I messed up some of the trophies) and eventually bagged the Platinum.

Fallout 3 is a post-apocalyptic action role playing game that you can play in either 1st person or 3rd person views. Because it is a role playing game it will take quite a long time to get the platinum, but having said that it is not hard.
Unfortunately it is very easy to miss some of the trophies, but if you save regularly and you are not afraid to look at the solution now and again you should have no trouble.
In this game you can save anywhere, you don't have to get to checkpoints like in some games which means that you can play for as long or as short as you like. So if you have got very little time to play before you go to work or school or whatever you can easily squeeze 5 minutes of play in, save your game and continue it later.

Building off the model Pandemic used with Star Wars: Battlefront, Lord of the Rings: Conquest provides you with a first and/or third person shooter style of game that not only lets you command strategy, but also lets you control the players in the center of the action. Participate in the Battle of Isengard as an Ent or fight Saruman at Orthanc as Gandalf himself. Take on the Nazgul as Aragorn while still protecting Frodo, or battle at Pelennor as a Rohirrim cavalry soldier. And that is just for the good guys!
In Conquest you will have to play many different characters in order to win. And it isn't always such a balanced match, as you will find yourself destroying towering siege engines and taking on hulking oliphaunts with your companions. You can choose to play all the heroes you love, or fight as a Nazgul tasked with killing Frodo and stretch your powerful wings as the Balrog himself in your battle for Moria.

X-Blades

WWE Legends of WrestleMania has got to be a strong contender for the easiest ever Playstation 3 trophy game. The reason I say this is that ALL of the trophies are attainable if you set the skill level to easy.
You should be able to bag the platinum for Legends of Wrestlemania in approximately 10 hours give or take a couple of hours. Be warned though to get the Legend Killer trophy you will have to set aside 2 hours to beat the last section as you have to beat 38 wrestlers in a row without saving.
Overall The Legends of Wrestlemania is a good game but it doesn't have much lasting appeal as once you have bagged the Platinum there is not much left to do. It does have an online mode though but because I don't really like online competitive games I didn't try it out.

Resident Evil 5 is yet another fairly easy trophy games and the platinum is baggable in less than 40 hours of play.
I must admit though that I have never played any of the Resident Evil games before, but having said that I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Since the game is co-op with the other character being controlled by AI it is possible to gain ALL of the trophies by playing online and if you play the game with it set to anyone can join you will find a lot of helpful people will join the game and help you through it.
There is no real point either in consulting walkthroughs as most of the people who join the game are more than helpful and will aid you in anything you are stuck on.
About the only downfall playing online is the very slight lag you may encounter on the button bashing bits, but if you find yourself repeatedly failing these bits you can always kick your online counterpart, do it solo and reinvite them when you get past it.

Leisure Suit Larry is back and this time it's in the guise of Larry Lovage, the nephew of Larry Laffer and unsurprisingly he is just as much a perv as his legendary uncle.
When I first saw the reviews of this game with some reviewers giving it 1 out of 10 I absolutely dreaded playing the game, but when I did play it I thought 'come on it ain't that bad', but it ain't that good either. The graphics are not that bad but they are jerky in places. The game comes with its complementary cast of over-endowed females and obnoxious males. Whilst some of the jokes ain't that bad it does tend to harp on ridiculously perverted stuff like beastiality which does tend to ruin the game.
The game would be much better with the dialogue toned down to normal perversion with a bit of nudity thrown in for good measure (after all that is what the game is supposed to be all about). In fact they should go back to the original format.
What we have left though is a game that is mildly amusing in places with terrible controls and badly acting cameras. This game is only really for die hard Larry fans and people who want a fairly easy platinum as long as they can put up with the frustration of the camera angles and some of the ridiculous dialogue.

Lara Croft is back in Tomb Raider Underworld and finally the long awaited trophy patch is here and it is yet another easy platinum. The only real tough trophy is the one for finding all the treasures but if you have a guide you should have little problem getting them all, it is just a slow and boring process.

Damnation is a third-person shooter action set in steampunk-inspired environments. Whilst this game has had some terrible reviews I rather liked it. It has got some screen tearing and graphical slowdown but it all happens in places that won't get you killed in the game. It has some very nice tomb raideresque climbing in places and suprisingly the control in these bits are a lot better than Tomb Raider: Underworld's, you don't have to worry if you don't line the jumps up exactly as the game will make adjustments for you making the climbing about a lot easier than Tomb Raider's.
The trophies in this game can be got in one playthrough if you have got either two controllers or someone to play online co-operative with. To get all the tophies you will have to play through on the hardest setting which you have to unlock, but if you know someone who has it unlocked you can just join thier game and it unlocks it for you.
The story mode on this game is longer than most games of the genre and should take over 15 hours with each level taking approximately 3 hours to play through.

Recently Trophy Patched Games
Need For Speed: Undercover and Pure have recently aquired a trophy patch. Both Disney and EA kept it quiet that they were working on a trophy patch for their game. Lets hope that more sofware companies follow suit and patch some of the older games.
Unfortunately at the moment I don't have a clue on whether they are easy or hard trophies so until then they will remain uncategorised.

- I have about 500 trophies from a couple dozen games. The only platinum I have is Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires. Time consuming, but very easy since you can set it to the easiest difficulty level and still get every trophy. Still took about 40 hours or so.
Eat Lead is pretty easy, too. I have about 75% of the trophies from just one playthrough on easy.

- I just downloaded the patch for PURE and it's Trophies are pretty pathetic as well...
There are some tough ones, but nothing extreme. Most of them are Come in 1st in all 4 races of this World Tour Series, build 5 quads with 5 different motors, etc.
I'd throw it on the easy list WAY easier than CoD:WaW

- why are people saying that games like COD are easy...?you all know it isnt, you are just showing off that you have it.... i found residnet evil okey to platinum, just proffessional can be hard if you cant find a half descent player o go with. with out a doubt the easiest plat i have ever seen is 'cloudy with a hint of meatballs' we only bought it because we have all other offline co-op games we can find, but we bought it at about 6ish and had completed it by 00:00. just took about 20mins in the morn to get the platinum, a real cheat of a game!
am trying drakes fortune atm, very easy trophies except the crushing. getting very tired of it now!
any disney game will take you lees then a day to plat!

- It's hard, but not impossible. Just take cover, enuff to pop off the most annoying guys (and theyll toss a lot of grenades if you camp, keep that in mind), and keep pushing

- Woo I have the rockband 2 platinum. And the Cod waw trophie is ridiculous. It is damn near impossible to beat that game on veteran and Im damn good at shooters. Theres no fun in dieing 300 times a level!

- In response to Burnout having the most trophies, quantity never ever means quality. The fact is Burnout trophies are way too pathetically easy. Criterion do not care about its customers all they care about is ripping them off and one of the bait they use is the pathetically easy trophies they dangle before you.
Trophies are supposed to be there to add playability to the game, to give you something to aim for ... with Burnout its 'here are the trophies, now play the game'. A platinum trophy is there to say you have completed the game and not in Burnouts case of you have got all the trophies now go and complete the game.
I don't get all these Criterion kiss asses who constantly try and defend them for their overpriced DLC and their pathetic trophies.
BTW, if Criterion had cared what their customers think they would not have closed down their forum.
Burnout Paradise is ruined by Criterion constantly making it easier and giving trophies that offer no challenge.

btw legends of wrestlemania is very easy, terminator is said to be so omfg easy because all you have to do is beat it on hard.....i coudnt do it for the life of me, ive never been so mad at a video game since back when i was real young playing sonic lol

- COD WaW is either very easy or very hard to platinum,d epending on if you can beat the levels on veteran. I have beaten some, but not all, A lot get very frustrating for the avg gamer. And the Sum of all Zeros trophy is the hardest to get.
Burnout is an easy platinum, just time consuming, and the hardest one to get will be the one that needs the usb cam. Fallout 3 is also easy, but time consuming as well. Buzz is even easier than those, but once again, very time consuming.
Depending on how good you are at the game, Uncharted can be gotten in 2 playthroughs if you can find all the treasures the first playthrough, and get all the weapon kills.
Dead Space is another easy one,b ut will require 3 playthroughs. Once just to open impossible, and then beat it, and then start it up again to fully upgrade everything.

- I have an issue with your comment about Burnout Paradise and that Criterion should not have made the trophies patch. Considering the game was already a year past release and the diehard fans already had the elite license. It would require more long hours if the platinum was tied to that level. Sure it probably would have been great if they copied the 360-achievement list (same as the in-game achievements) but that would have made sense at release considering all the online freeburning that is needed to 100% complete. Burnout has the most trophies of any PS3 game with the DLC.

- cod WOW is easy and killzone to is a pain only need to beat radec on hard but its takes the mick. battlefield bad company is easy enough but the trophies came out after the game was released and trophies werent put on auto, so not completeing it again just to get the trophies

- The Godfather II has to be one of the easiest.... Beat the game in about 10 or so hours, and just by doing the normal quest stuff, nothing extra, you get 65% of the trophies.

- cod waw is quite easy platinum it is the only game i have in platinum but i dont have many listed here. the only hard trophies on cod waw are heart of the reich but isn.t that hard once you know what your doing but one of the hardest on cod waw is sum of all zeros
