Bacon + Oven = The Easiest Way to Cook Bacon
My dear friend and old roommate Erin, bacon-lover extraordinaire, showed me what I would call the flat-out easiest way to cook bacon EVER.... by simply popping it into the oven and baking it.I've always made bacon the way my mother made bacon, by laying it out in a skillet or griddle on the stove top and cooking it on the burner...all the while, sputtering and spitting bacon grease, mucking up the cook top, and requiring your constant and undivided attention lest you start a grease fire or burn the bacon to a too-done crisp.
Ready for something MUCH easier? Me too. Erin's method really works....and here it is in
** 3 EASY STEPS **
1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Using a baking sheet with an edge (like a jellyroll pan), lay the bacon out, each slice just touching the next.
3. Bake for 15-20 minutes. VOILA!

Easiest Clean Up Baked Bacon!
1. For the speediest bacon clean up ever, just line your jellyroll pan with aluminum foil (tinfoil). When the bacon has been cooked and removed form the pan, just roll up the greasy foil and toss it.
Lower Fat Baked Bacon
2. It's bacon, so it IS all about the fat, but for slightly less fat, put the bacon strips atop a metal cooling rack, set that onto the jellyroll pan (either lines with foil or not) and the fat will drip off the bacon and down into the pan. Woot!
