It's easier than you think to decorate Easter Eggs
There are a million and one ways to Decorate Easter Eggs. But, the way that I'll recommend for your first time is so easy and simple. Just go to the store, or find a kit from this site. They are cheap, and everything is ready to go. All you have to do is provide the eggs, either hard-boiled, or hollowed out. I've included directions on how to do this. I guarantee you and your kids will have a fabulous time Decorating Easter Eggs. Make it an Easter family tradition and do it every year!
Step #1: Get yourself an Easter Egg Kit
There are plenty of ways to make your own Easter Eggs, but the easiest way is to buy an Easter Egg Kit. Then, all you need to do is boil or blow the fluid out of your eggs and you're ready to go. There are a wide range of kits for all price ranges. Easter Egg Dyes
Step #2: Preparing the Eggs
There are 2 main options for preparing eggs that you're going to decorate.1. The first option is to hard-boil the eggs. They will keep for about a week in the fridge. This is the simple, easy way but you'll have to throw out the eggs eventually or else they'll rot and smell bad.
2. The second option is to blow-out the eggs. This requires a bit of work, but even children should be able to do it, if they have a bit of patience. This is how you do it:
Pierce both ends of a raw egg with a sharp knife, and twirl knife to widen one hole slightly. Straighten a paper clip, and poke it through the larger hole to pierce and stir the yolk. Hold the egg, larger hole down, and blow the contents out with a rubber ear syringe (available at drugstores). Doing it gently is the key.
The advantage to this is that you can keep your eggs forever!

Step #3: Get organized
You can prepare some things to help yourself get organized for the big decorating event. Get some old clothes to wear, so you won't be worried about making a mess. You can also cover your table with some plastic, if it's a light color, so it won't get stained. Also, make some holders with toothpicks for your finished eggs, so they won't get smudged when they're drying.
Make sure your eggs are ready to go and you have all the tools necessary.
After that, just follow the package directions for your dye kit and you'll be ready to go!
