Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

It seems I've always been a baker. But, some of my earliest memories of baking were with an Easy-Bake oven. I think even before that I was helping my mother to bake cookies. We would bake all sorts of cookies like sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies. She would use an easy chocolate chip cookies recipe and bake some of the best chocolate chip cookies ever! Having a good recipe is definately important when baking, and having a recipe that's easy is even better!

I like to always keep some ingredients on hand in my pantry just in case I feel like baking. When prepared the "old fashioned" way of baking at home nothing tastes as satisfying as baked goods.

Some important ingredients to keep on hand would be:

- Chocolate chips
- Unsweetened cocoa
- Butter
- Eggs
- All-purpose flour
- Leaveners: such as baking powder and baking soda
- Salt
- Sugar: granulated, brown sugar and confectioners' sugar
- Milk
- Pure vanilla
- Spices: cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and nutmet
- Nuts: walnuts, almonds, and pecans, macadamias, hazelnuts

- Read the entire recipe from beginning to end to make sure you understand it, and
then follow the recipe exactly.

- Make sure you have all your ingredients before mixing.

- Pre-measure your ingredients to help the process flow more smoothly.

- Bake in small batches.
