Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup softened butter (2 sticks)
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 cups flour
• 12 oz. chocolate chips

Instructions

Cream together the first 7 ingredients. Mix in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonful, 2 inches apart, onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

You can make it even more simple by making cookie bars. Instead of dropping them by teaspoonful, put all the dough into a 9x13 inch baking pan. Spread it out as evenly as possible and bake in 375 oven for 20-25 minutes.
