St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Treats

Easy Chocolate Covered Pretzels with M&Ms
- Serves: As many as you make
- Prep Time: Very Quick
Here's a sweet and salty treat that is a breeze to make. You can change the colors of the M&Ms for a different season or a holiday or just randomly throw them on.
Ingredients
- Pretzels
- 1 Hershey's Kiss or Dove Chocolate per pretzel
- 3 M&Ms per Pretzel
- Betty Crocker Cookie Icing or similar ready made icing for stems
Instructions
Preheat Oven to 200 degrees.
Place pretzels on a cookie sheet. You can line the cookie sheet with parchment paper to make clean-up a snap, if desired.
Place one chocolate on each pretzel.
Heat in a 200 degree oven until the chocolates are warm and squishy - approximately 4-5 minutes.
Remove cookie sheet from oven and place on a heatproof surface.
Press three M&M's into the chocolate.
Use frosting to add stems to the clovers, if using green M&Ms for St. Patrick's day.
Put cookie sheet in the refrigerator or other cool place until the chocolate re-hardens.
Put a Hershey's Kiss or a Dove's Chocolate on each pretzel and bake in a 200 degree oven until soft.
Use pink M&Ms for Valentines or Pastels for Easter & Spring.
Orange, Red, & Yellow M&Ms work well for Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Autumn Snacks. You can uses Reese's Pieces instead of M&Ms.
Red, Green & White M&Ms work great for Christmas.
