Santa actually brought the little kids a whole big pack of pipe cleaner craft activities for Christmas. So much fun! And the only clean up is putting them back away!

All great craft ideas for toddlers! My two-year-old gets through stickers at a frightening rate, so the make-your-own-stickers idea is definitely one I will try! She also loves sculpting, painting and colouring. Play-Doh is great for creating favourite characters to play with!

Great ideas! I save paper rolls and let the kids paint them. They like holding them while they paint and making them colorful.

Great list of ideas. I'd love to see a few pictures of toddlers doing some of these crafting activities.

Great toddler craft ideas, especially the ones without scissors. My niece thinks that she should be able to use scissors, and when she sees them she makes a grab to get them.

What an excellent article on easy toddler crafts. I have always been a crafter, and with my oldest grandson, we spent hundreds of hours creating joyous crafts. It was a wonderful time. I have, of course, being an old hand at this, heard of many of these. Surprisingly enough, I never thought about the bathtub sailboats. What a great idea!

Many people do not realize that toddlers are not too young for crafts and art.

Never met a kid that didn't like to finger paint, and now they have washable paints not like when we were growing up. Great ideas here.

When my little guy was a toddler and young preschooler, we had to take him to the hospital a lot to see specialists (orthopedic) and sometimes those visits could last between 3-5 hours in the waiting room. It was horrible. We had to take a ton of stuff with us to keep him busy because he was only 3 years old. So, I've had a lot of experience keeping a little one busy! lol!!! (Oh and he is hyperactive!) This is a great list of activities you have here. I could have used a few of them. Too bad I didn't have the list back then. :) Great lens.

A Toddler is so much fun to do crafts with. I love the Toddler Craft Ideas that you have here. I think the Sock Puppet would be a fun craft for Toddlers and even elementary age children.

Love for crafts begins in the early years ... I've been making crafts since my pre-scissor days, and both my daughters started at around 3 years old. Crafts are fun and great for developing hand-eye and fine motor skills! Plus we get to save all the precious creative projects our little ones craft.
