Is Easy and Fast Weight Loss Just A Myth?
This is my experience...
Let me tell you a little bit about myself...I'm a food addict. Seriously. I love food, and I have a bottomless pit for a stomach.
Obviously, when I was younger, I didn't gain any weight at all, no matter what I ate. I looked like your typical blonde, skinny cheerleader. When I hit my mid-twenty's, everything changed...
That whole medium pizza that I could eat for lunch stopped being burned as energy, and started ending up on my butt! I ended up gaining about 25 pounds between college and my 28th birthday.
Now, you may be thinking that 25 pounds isn't that much, but pack it onto a petite, pear-shaped frame, and you've got one big a$$!! That was frustrating. My jean size got bigger, and bigger, and bigger...
I felt so awful about myself, and it really affected my social life. I didn't want to go anywhere, and I didn't want anyone to see my fat thighs and expanding rear.
Being overweight is a crippling burden, but it's worse when you realize that YOU did it to yourself! No one forced me to eat like I did.
I could give you the rundown on all of the diets I've tried over the years, but I'm sure you don't have 6 hours to read this! Let's just say that whatever I tried, I failed, and this is why:
Most diets involve foods that I don't eat. I'm a picky eater. So to think that I was going to go 3 months or more on any diet eating nothing but carrots and chicken was ridiculous!
Also, I have a hard time keeping my motivation. Most diets tell you that it's best to lose only 1 or 2 pounds a week - bull crap! After a few weeks, when I've only lost 5 pounds, I lose all motivation to continue eating carrot sticks and chicken!
I needed a plan that was gonna work fast if I was gonna stick to it!
Anyway, I eventually came up with something that worked perfectly for me, all while still being able to eat what I was craving. You can read more about it by clicking here.
I am now at my goal weight, and I know I'll never go back to the way I used to be!
