Money for nothing coz your clicks are free

A good way of making some extra money each month is by using cashback websites to do your shopping. The idea of these websites is that you create a free account with the cashback website. You are then able to make money by simple shopping online using the links from the website.

At busy times such as Christmas and school holidays, why not beat the crowds and do your shopping easily in the comfort of your own home,earning some cashback at the same time, and this saves on the expense of petrol and car park tickets.

There are many shops listed on these sites,sometimes thousands on some of them, ranging from food shops,clothes shops, DIY, music shops, home furnishings and loads more, pretty much everything is covered.

Next, Boots, HMV, Asda, Mothercare, Wilkinsons, Debenhams and John Lewis are just a tiny sample of shops available across these websites that offer cashback.

If you do a lot of your shopping on internet only sites such as Amazon, Ebay, Photobox and many others then cashback shopping is still for you as there are loads of online only stores such as these that offer cashback.

The way it works is basically, the retailers advertise on the cashback website so when you click their link and make a purchase, they pay the cashback website for the privilege of advertising on their site. A percentage of this is then passed on to you. The amount varies from site to site as do the retailers. The amount you will receive is listed on the website though,so you can compare with other sites. The best thing is, you can join as many cashback sites as you like, therefore increasing the amount of retailers.

As well as shopping, there are ways you can earn money without spending a penny. All of these cashback websites offer "daily clicks" or sometimes known as "recurring" or "daily rewards". They are a list of price comparison websites which pay you to click on their link. You then have to click on a product and through to a retailer on the site.

You don't need to buy anything but you will paid for clicking on the link, usually anything from 1p to 9p a click each time you do this. Most of them are limited to 1 or 2 clicks a day on each site, but you can repeat them on all the cashback sites that you are joined to as many of them advertise on the majority of cashback sites.

So, not only do you get to find out the best price for items you are interested in, you earn money while browsing. OK so 1p to 9p a click doesn't sound much, but some sites may have 20 or so daily clicks available and if you do this everyday it soon adds up.

If you are only going to do the daily clicks then to see your money adding up, you really need to do this everyday and you will not see instant results. Many of these sites keep the money pending until they have received the payment from the retailers, which sometimes is up to 90 days so you really need to stick at it to achieve results. Saying that, there are others that clear within a few days or some that are more or less instant.

Many people give up before this time as they get fed up of doing it. Once the money starts clearing though and you get a payout, the payouts should be regular if you stick at it. The payouts can be anything from £1 to £50 depending on the website as each one is different. The payments are usually by Bacs or paypal, but some will send you a cheque or vouchers if you prefer.

There are other ways that you can earn cash from these sites without spending a penny such as ordering free brochures and magazines,signing up for competitions (yes - they pay you to enter!), signing up for free bingo (again - many of them pay you to sign up, give you free money to play bingo with and if you win it's an another added bonus)!, getting car insurance quotes and many others.

These offers work in the same way as the shopping and the daily clicks. The companies pay the website money to advertise on the website and when you click and order the brochure or sign up for bingo etc, you get a percentage of the cash.

These deals can be a great way to bump up your earnings and get some free stuff at the same time.

I know it all sounds too good to be true, but it's really not. It's free and you earn cash from shopping or browsing the internet. I was very sceptical about these sites to start with, and yes there are dodgy sites out there, but the ones I am joined to all have been praised by people on money saving forums and friends and are known to pay out.

I started by joining Greasy Palm in February, and now I am joined to 22 sites! I have already had £70 in my bank from Greasy Palm and am half way there to having another payout as they have some fantastic offers and cracking deals.

There are a few sites that take an admin fee of £5 a year, but they take it out of the money you earn in your account. You will not be asked for any money. It is deducted once your account reaches over £5. In all the sites I am joined to there is only 1 site that has this in place, the rest are free. It's still good though because the revenues are higher on this site. You get 100 percent of the cash back instead of the website taking a percentage, they simply take £5 a year from your earnings instead. The rest of the sites that I am a member of are free to join and have no hidden costs. If you come across any cashback sites that charge you upfront to join I would strongly recommend giving them a wide berth.

I wish I had know about these great websites ages ago as I would have done my Christmas shopping online. I will be doing that this year using these sites, that's for sure!
