There are lots of easy Christmas Crafts that you can do to make it so much more fun.  Christmas is a time when we give each other gifts - and what greater gift is there than your time.  Time is so precious - we only have so much, and to give it freely to someone you love by making them a beautiful handcrafted gift is the best present of all.  I love it when I am asked to deliver something you have made to someone you love.  The hardest part is getting ideas so Mrs Claus and I have put our heads together to come up with some easy Christmas Crafts for you to do.  Do keep coming back - with the sound of Christmas calling, I'll be putting lots of new ideas here for you between now and then.

Christmas Crafts To Make

Do you like making your own Christmas Gifts - I do but sometimes I wonder what to give people and I'm stuck for ideas. Mrs Claus and I found The Ultimate Christmas Craft Collection a real help. Everyone loves to Read - and Have a Cup of Coffee

So everyone needs a Bookmark and a Coaster!

One of my favorite things to make are easy bookmarks. They are very quick to do and everyone needs bookmarks because everyone loves to read - especially Christmas stories about me and my Reindeer!

You will need:-
(makes six)
Craft Knife or scissors
Cutting Mat
Wipes to clean your hands
1 sheet A4 Card - any color
Glue or Glue Dots
Colored Pens or Pencils
Embellishments - you can use stickers, glitter, craft stamps - all sorts of different things even scraps from old Christmas cards!
2 Laminator pouches and a laminator - If you don't have a laminator of your own you can always go to the local stationers and they will do it for you for a small charge.

1 - Take your sheet of card and cut it width ways (across the short side) into six strips.

2 - Trim the corners of each strip, either across the corner or rounded, whichever you like best. If you have a corner clipper you can use that.

3 - On the 'back' write the name of the person you are giving it to and add a message - you can use these as Christmas Cards too..

4 - Decorate the 'front' of the strip with the embellishments to suit the person you are giving it to.

5 - Open up the laminator pouch and place three or four of the bookmarks inside, spacing them evenly so there is lots of space round each one - the Stationer will do this for you if you haven't got a laminator.

6 - When the pouch has gone through the laminator each of your bookmarks will be sealed inside it's own little pocket and you can cut between them.

You should be able to get at least six bookmarks from one sheet of card and two pouches, maybe even eight!

Another thing you can do with this is to make Coasters in the same way - just use a thicker card and cut it into squares. When you are choosing your embellishments, do remember that they need to be flat for Coasters or the drink will fall over!
