Easy Cookie Recipe - From my Mother to Me
I'm so cute aren't I? My mom made the easy cookie recipe just for me. It's important for you all to know that I don't cook, bake, or grill well. That's an understatement. Some trigger in my brain goes off that just shuts down it's entire processes when cooking. I get flustered, unaware and agitated when cooking. I'm normally a very intelligent person but something comes over me when I'm in the kitchen.
That's why I am lucky my mom gave me the easy cookie recipe. When you have the easy cookie recipe your idea of baking changes. Making the easy cookie recipe is so simple and fun. I love to try many different variations of cake mix for these cookies. These are some easy cookie recipes you can make by simply using a box of cake mix to make them.
Moms Easy Cookie Recipe
Easy Cookie Recipe
- Serves: Dozen Cookies
- Prep Time: 2 min
- Total Time: 10 min
Ingredients
- 1box of ANY cake mix
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 egg
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
Mix in bowl thoroughly
Roll dough into balls (they expand a lot)
Place on non-stick cookie sheet and smash down with a fork (you can use the bottom of a cup too).
Place in center of oven and bake for 7 min

You can use chocolate, yellow cake, lemon, cherry, any flavor cake mix you desire with my Mom's Easy Cookie Recipe
I know they're not pretty in the picture folks but that's not the point. You can obviously take more time than I did and make yours look uniform and nice. I don't cook that way. As long as it tastes good. I'm Happy!

- I've got some chocolate muffin mix in the kitchen that I've been thinking about trying this with. It actually takes water and eggs rather than oil and eggs. I was just going to cut back on the fluid and see if I could make it in to cookies. Bet it would be good that way.

- I can so relate to this lens! While I can 'cook' when I feel like it, the urge to do so is fleeting. I don't mind the eating part... but making that mess in the kitchen and then having to clean it up again? What's the point?!!? This looks quick and simple and with so few ingredients - not very messy! Yay! Right up my alley... I"ll be trying them soon :) Thanks!

- These sound really great. I have another easy recipe for you, that sound weird but actually comes out really good. My mother in law makes this cake for her husband who can't have much sugar or cholesterol. You take any cake mix, pour in a 9x12 pan, then add a half can of any diet pop to it, mix and bake at 350 until done. It is really good and so simple!
