How Do You Find An Easy Internet Business That Ensures Your Success?

It wasn't long ago that I was a struggling wannabe online marketer. I didn't know what I was doing. All I knew was that I wanted to find an easy internet business model; one I could make money with.

Here are some techniques I used when I was desperate to find ways to make my living online.

1. Find a good review site. But beware! Many are thrown up simply to get visititors to click on the Adsense ads or affiliate links. You can normally tell if the reviewer really reviewed the programs or products he's promoting by the way his review is written. Most real reviewers will find things wrong in some products, and mention the fact. They won't have everything perfect. They'll actually help you find what you're looking for, and steer you away if it's a bad product.

2. Find a good mentoring program. I hunted high and low for months before stumbling on WA. Following their simple instruction has given me more than enough tools to make a great living online.
   


3. Another approach is to pick a "guru" and learn to do exatly what they teach. Early on I did have some success with this method.
   There are many popular gurus. But you can simply go to Google and type in "internet business" or something similar, and see who shows up. You can also join some internet marketing forums. Soon you'll have more guru names than you can shake a stick at.
   Don't jump around around though once you've found one. Stick with him/her and follow your new leader into action!

In order to start an online business you need to have knowledge in the ways you can make money online. I heartily recommend good training.

It helped me immensely in the beginning of my Internet marketing career, and although I feel that I am proficient in many online marketing activities, I remain affiliated with my favourite "online university". I know, I know, "online university" sounds kind of daunting when you first to read it, but it really isn't.

The one I finally found, WA, offered:

If you are looking for an easy Internet business where you do no work and money simply flows in, you will need to look elsewhere.
Personally I don't think such a thing actually exists.

In order to be successful online, as with the offline world, you need to put out effort and work. This is the only way that I know that you will be successful.

I have found that the main puzzle piece that most new marketers lack is simply learning the "how to" of it all.

One of the main ways to profit online is through affiliate programs. Affiliate programs are set up by "vendors" in order to increase their sales. They will basically be employing you as their online sales force.

Affiliates sign up for the vendors' program and are paid for purchasing something after having been referred to a web site. The affiliate may get paid per click, per sale, or per lead, depending on the affiliate program. The most common though is to be paid per sale.

To accomplish this you, as an affiliate marketer, need to get prospects to go to the vendor's website. Once there, it is the vendor's job to finish the sale. For this reason it is important that you choose wisely before blindly diving into any affiliate program. First, you need to decide if the website would entice you to make a purchase. If the answer is no, it probably isn't going to be a profitable affiliate site.

To find a good affiliate program check out one of the following: Clickbank (specializes in downloadable products), Commission Junction, and Share It (just add the .com). These sites offer thousands of affiliate programs and with a little research you should be able to find a decent one.

Getting your own domain name

Once you find an affiliate program you'd like to represent, head over to GoDaddy.com and get yourself a domain name. You need a domain name for several reasons, but most importantantly are 1) it will give you a good advertising image, 2) You'll be able to track visitors, and 3) it will give you the ability to switch landing pages.

You can get a domain name at GoDaddy.com for about $10.00 - very cheap. In fact, for every affiliate program you intend to promote you should get yourself a domain name. But start with one.

Choose your domain names carefully. Pick something that represents what you are marketing. If you are an affiliate for a company that sells car seat covers, choose a name like CarSeatCovers.com. This will help your image, and, should you decide to develop a website down the road you'll have a great URL ready to go.

Masking your domain
Once you have the domain name, head over to your GoDaddy back office and choose Manage Domains. Next, click on your new URL. Then click on Forwarding. Now you'll see a link that says, "Domain is not forwarded. Click here to see details or to modify". Click on that link then do the following:

1. In the Forward To box, type in your affiliate URL.


2. Check the Mask Domain box.
   


3. Click Save Changes.

Once this is done it will take around 24 hrs for the changes to occur. After that, start promoting your new URL and it will automatically forward prospects to your affiliate website.

Marketing your affiliate sites

Now you are ready to start your marketing campaign. There are just too many ways you can market the site to cover here, but I will go over a few of the best and perhaps easiest:

• Put your masked affiliate URL in the signature box of your emails. This is one of the most overlooked yet easiest ways to market an affiliate program.


• Join two or three online forums that are somehow connected to what you are marketing. If you're promoting skate boards, go to Google and type in "skate board" +forums, or go to their Forums link and type in Skate Boards. Once you've found a couple of online forums, visit regularly and offer opinions and advice, or answer or ask questions. Make sure to put your new affiliate URL and a few lines of copy in your signature box at the end of each post. One word of warning though. Don't under any circumstances promote your affiliate products in your posts. Doing so will quickly get you kicked out of the forums.


• Write an e-book or manual about the topic of your affiliate program. In the e-manual or book include your masked link. Sell it on EBay for 0.99cents. Doing this you are effectively giving the book away, but because it has your affiliate links in it there's every possibility that readers will click the links and go on to purchase something you will get paid a commission on.


• Write articles and submit them to ezines such as EzineArticle.com. You'll have a resource box to put your affiliate links in at the end of each article. The articles will be picked up by webmasters and used in other ezines, on web pages etc. and you'll get a lot of exposure. Study this article to see how I'm doing just that. I've used ezine articles on various ezine sites to make thousands of dollars promoting my main business.
