Easy Knitting

Knitting has always been quite a mystery to me. All my life, I've watched my amazing mom knit afghans, sweaters, hats, slippers, bags, you name it! Well now that I am a mom myself, I have this yearning desire to learn how to do some of those fun projects on my own. Instead of giving my mom an order for a blanket to match the new dress I got my daughter, I would like to be able to make it on my own. Although most of her projects are definitely NOT considered Easy Knitting.

I tried to have my mom give me knit instructions, but I think it is similar to trying to take piano lessons from your mom as a kid. You just don't listen well or respect her as a teacher. So I am scouring the internet and library looking for tools to help me learn. I'm posting some of the best Easy Knitting content I come across here. Hopefully it will be useful to other newbie knitters.
