Wonderful article! Gonna save this to refer to when I get up the nerve to make a crust. :)

Great...reminds me of that pie song in the movie Michael (about the angel, with Andie MacDowell). Thanks!

I used your recipe today! I made two sweet potato pies to bring to Mom's house. I don't have a rolling pin, so the crust ended up a little thicker than it could have been, but it was delicious!

I wonder if I could do this?? I'm featuring this lens on my Sweet Potato Pie lens.

Hi! Your pie crust lens is being featured on my Sweet Potato Pie recipe lens.

I'm definitely challenged when it comes to pie making. I'll try your recipe and see if it improves my result. Otherwise it is back to the pre-made frozen stuff!

    My second visit here.

My mom also made those Cinnamon Roll-Ups.
And we also fought over them.

Very detailed! You make it seem so easy I may just have to give thsi recipe a try. Pie crust and me don't always work well together :)

Very well explained and by the way I also like lemon meringue pie
on top of blueberry being my favorite these days.

Well, sometimes you just have to make do. I have used a wine bottle before with mixed results. :-P Thanks for stopping by.

Well I could have used this yesterday while baking apple pies. We lost our rolling pin and had to use a cup. Yeah, you can guess how that pie crust turned out! It wasn't pretty but still tasted good. :) Nice lens!

I am glad you found it entertaining. It was fun to write. And, baking isn't so hard. You just have to understand the process and it makes sense. :-)

That's the funniest baking lens I've ever seen! Congratulations on this work. Gives me the need of baking - I hate baking and cooking - but it's hard to resist to your recipe!
    Rated and fav'd your lens!
