Christmas time is my favorite time of the year! Across the country and around the world, it's a Special time to get together with family and friends,to give thanks for Blessings and to Celebrate the Birth of Christ!

Most were elaborately decorated and meticulously crafted by hand, often considered a gift unto themselves. These cherished keepsakes were saved and passed down through the generations giving us a treasured glimpse of days gone by. The card pictured is an example of one of Horsley's cards.

It goes without saying that we live in a far more complicated world than Mr Horsley experienced back in 1843. Acknowledging events and expressing sentiments should be just as important today as it was to those who spent all the hours creating handmade cards long ago.
