Easy To Learn Magic Tricks
Magic Bottle Trick
Props needed:
1. An eraser.
2. An opaque bottle with a large opening where the wand would fit into.
3. A magic wand which should be taller than the bottle. When you drop the wand into the bottle, part of it should stick up through the opening.
What to do:
Cut off a piece of the eraser. This needs to be just big enough for you to wedge the wand into the bottle opening.
Hand the bottle to a member of your audience so they can check it is empty.
Take the bottle back.
Hand the wand to a member of your audience so they can check it.
Whilst they are doing this, slip the cut-off eraser into the bottle, making sure it isn't visible to anyone in the audience.
Take the wand back and drop it into the bottle.
Slowly, pick up the bottle and the wand, holding the bottle upside down.
As you turn the bottle the right way up, the eraser will wedge the wand into the bottle's opening. You may need to gently pull on the wand to make sure that this happens.
Gently let go of the wand - to your audience, it will appear as though the wand is suspended in the bottle.
Then slowly turn the bottle back upright. The wand will appear to be floating in the bottle.
For the finale, gently push down on the wand to release the eraser so that you can take the wand out of the bottle easily.

How to Do the Best Magic Tricks
Regardless of which magic trick you're performing, follow these simple tips to make sure that you get the best reaction from your audience:Be as natural as possible
This can be easier said than done but with practice you'll get there. Perform your magic tricks naturally and fairly slowly - this will help you concentrate and build up suspense with your audience.
Keep sight lines in mind
Very often, a trick only works within a range of angles. Outside this, your audience will easily spot what you are doing. So keep your sight lines in mind when you are performing.
Practice, practice, practice
The more you practice a trick, the better you will get. None of the great magicians goes out on stage with an unpracticed, brand new trick. Perform in front of a mirror to see yourself as your audience will see you.
Only use each trick once in your routine
Otherwise your audience will know what is going to happen next. Which takes the fun and suspense out of the show and runs the risk of your audience working out how you are performing the trick.

Magic Tricks With Numbers
Here's an easy magic trick you can do with anyone.1. Ask your subject to write down a 3 digit number. It can be any number they like, so long as it doesn't read the same backwards and forwards. So, for instance, it can't be a number like 666 or 747. But other than that, there are no rules.
2. Take a piece of paper and write down the number 1089. For extra effect, place this number in a sealed envelope and put it somewhere where it can't be touched before the trick is over.
3. Ask your subject to do a simple subtraction: they need to reverse the order of the 3 numbers they though of. This will give them two numbers. Ask them to subtract the smaller of these two numbers from the larger one. For instance, if the number they thought of was 725 then the reversed number would be 527. The difference between these is 198 (a calculator could be a useful accessory here!).
4. Now ask them to add this new number to the reverse of the new number. If the new number is below 100, put zeros in front of it before doing the reversing. So if the difference was 98 (rather than 198 I used earlier) they would add 098 and 890 together. In my earlier example, they'd add 198 and 891.
5. Tell them that the final number is the one you wrote down and placed in the envelope. Ask them to confirm that you haven't tampered with the envelope since you put it down at the start of the trick. As they open the envelope, you may ask them to confirm that the number they ended up with is indeed 1089.

Long List Of Magic Tricks
This page contains a list of magic tricks. In magic literature, tricks are often called effects. Based strictly upon published literature and marketed effects, there are hundreds of millions of effects; a short performance routine by a single magician may contain dozens of effects.
Some serious students of magic strive to refer to effects by a proper name, and are also concerned with the proper attribution of the effect's creator. For example, consider an effect where the magician shows four aces, and then they turn face up one at a time in a mysterious fashion. This effect might be recognized as Twisting the Aces, which is attributed to Dai Vernon, based on a false count invented by Alex Elmsley. Some tricks are listed merely with their marketed name (particularly those that are sold as stand-alone tricks by retail dealers), whereas others are listed by the name given within magic publications.
