If you want to know more about Intermittent Fasting, Brad is your man

And the best thing is you can try Eat Stop Eat without any risk. Brad is a friend of mine, so I know for a fact that he stands by his guarantee that if you don't like his ebook, all you have to do is ask for a refund.

But to tell you the truth, once you read the book, you'll be pleased that you did. Even if you decide not to try intermittent fasting, you'll get way more than your money's worth just from all the background information he covers. In fact, it took me months before I actually tried IF, but I still felt the book was well worth the investment.

How do I fit in?

Adam's Intermittent Fasting Story

I ran across Eat Stop Eat (ESE) quite by accident. At the time, I had absolutely no interest in trying Intermittent Fasting (IF). I read the sales copy for ESE and thought it sounded quite interesting, but moved on and forgot about it. But then I started seeing little references here and there about the benefits of IF. I really wanted to learn more about it and started looking for a solid resource on the subject. Again I ran across ESE.

Brad Pilon's ebook stood out as the most thorough collection of the "why's" of Intermittent Fasting. It was evident that Brad had really scoured the science and attempted to lay out his findings clearly for the interested reader. So I went ahead and ordered ESE. I poured through it immediately and was more than happy with my purchase. The background information on IF was exactly what I was looking for.

However, I still had absolutely no intention of trying IF. I just wanted to know what all the fuss was about. But Brad's evidence stayed on the back burner and kept working away at me. And eventually I decided I should give it a try.

I must admit that my first experience did not last very long, and was not all that successful. I ended up grossly overeating before and after my fast. I realize now that this grew mostly from psychological factors surrounding my ingrained notion about getting "enough food." This is quite humorous considering the surplus of food we have in our society and the general over-consumption.

At any rate, I once again put IF on the the back burner and only came back to it some months later. But from that time on I have not looked back. I have been using IF for nearly a year now and am having great success with it. I enjoy my food more when I am not fasting. My energy levels are high. My percentage of body fat is easier to maintain in the zone that I shoot for. And I have not lost any strength or muscle mass.

The secret for me in this second time around has been in putting certain "rules" in place for my eating around my fasts and in making sure I have certain strategies in place for my nutrition outside of fasting. I share these periodically in my blog. This post in particular has some important tips on making Intermittent Fasting work.

If you are at all interested in nutrition, the effects of food on the body, the hormonal environment created through eating (or not eating) or health and fitness in general, I would certainly recommend making the small investment in the Eat Stop Eat ebook. Even if you don't plan on trying IF, in my opinion the information laid out in the book is still well worth reading.

way of life.

Much to the dismay of food companies, you can't put fasting into a pill and sell it...

From Eat Stop Eat

"Human beings (nutritionally speaking) can only be in one of the following states: fed or fasted."

Bottom Line

Let's face it, Intermittent Fasting is not rocket science. You stop eating, then later you start eating again. If you are looking for secret techniques, don't bother buying ANY guide to Intermittent Fasting. What makes Eat Stop Eat worth the investment is the extensive background information. If, like me, you want to understand why IF works, I can assure you that Brad delivers.
