The secret is to use the Glycemic Index to eat foods that won't cause your body to store them as fat. I use The Low G.I. Diet by Rick Gallop as the basis of my plan. If you read the blog post I linked to above, titled "Now I'm cooking to Get Fit!", you'll see a list of just some of the great foods I am eating, plus a recipe and photo of the delicious egg-and-veggie scramble I made for dinner last night.
I am seriously addicted to sugar, and I have failed to lose weight following dozens of weight-loss plans, including EIGHT attempts at Weight Watchers. I never thought I would be able to give up donuts, and sugar in my coffee, but I am so full from eating all this great food that I don't miss it, at least not yet!
