Eating Snow Is Bad For You

Your mother always told you not to eat the yellow snow. Well now it's bad to eat the white fluffy stuff too. Bacteria, pollution, dogs and snowplows have made this childhood delicacy a big no, no.

I admit that I've eaten my share of snow, but that was in the 1970's when eating snow was socially acceptable. Now I just think it's gross! What do you think?

i say eating snow is really bad for you because it is pollution and it is mixed in with dirt and smog{smoke+ fog=smog} and it fall from the sky and pollution is in the air so when it hit the pollution and we eat it where eating pollution and do you think it is good for us no ok bye.

I was just out side a few hours a go and i ate like, 3 pounds of snow. Now my throt really irrataded. i asked my mom why its like that and she told me becase theres bactirea in it. The best thing to do is to put a table spoon of salt into a cup and with warm water. Then, girggle it in your throt and spit it out. Do this 3 times. It might taste gross, so wash your mouth with cold water.

eating yellow snow and brown snow is bad to eat and there are bacteria and dirt in the snow (it depends on where you grab it) im only in 4th grade but im smart and actually i think snow can sometimes be safe to eat and not safe it just depends on where you get it from.

No it will not harm you but do not eat to much are you might get stick from the cold but eating fresh and white snow with out any marks in it that has just accumulated snow as long as it looks white and fresh without any marks in it I say its ok my rule in eating snow is only if its new and its been on the ground for less then a hour

no, eating snow is not bad for u ,even now in 2011. it's just u hv to be careful from where u eat it, nt from the ground. stick ur tongue out or ur hands catch a snow flake and then eat it. its not gonna cause any harm. and yeah u can avoid the first snow fall, but then u can have fun in the 2nd and 3rd and so on ..

I am 21 me and my 3 sisters grew up constantly making snow slushies and we still do it's great. Usually only really fresh snow. By the way, it doesn't taste like acid rain. It isn't amy worse than the gross foods your kids eat and breathe in daily. I would rather give my kids snow than have to subject them to your cigarette smoke! Snow is nothing compared to that stuff..

me and my kids just made two batches of icecream snow.chocolate almond and vanilla almond....yummm were from missouri and we just had the 2nd biggest snow storm of history...cool huh?19 reported inches.thats alot of snow..we made sure it was clean and this is our 2nd or 3rd snow fall.its snow come on..people have been eating snow for years.now drinking tap water or eating fast food letting some stranger fix your burger???now thats just plain dumb..got snow?make icecream.

Well, if eating snow is bad for you, why do people stick their tongues out while it is still falling? I don't think that there's anything wrong with it. If it actually was bad for your health, someone would have reported it or it would be on the news already.

It is good as long as no one has done anything to it. If it has just fallen and there are tracks in it eat a bit off to the side where it hasn't been toutched.
