The inaugural Eat So They Can event took place on the 13th of October 2007 in conjunction with the UN's World Food Day.On this day, people all over the globe held private dinner parties, large and small, and collected donations from their guests. The Funds raised through the parties were then donated to the GVN Foundation to benefit the Kenyan Children's Fund, which supports Kenyan children in need.
All money raised through Eat So They Can benefits the Children's Fund set up especially to aid children living in poverty. By addressing both immediate and long-term issues, the GVN Foundation hopes to make a significant impact on the lives of the children in the programs we support.
